The strangest thing in all of this is that these worldwide alliances may forge together a peaceful coexistence between superpowers for years to come. If you told me 30 years ago that the presidents of USA and Russia would cooperate together, I'd have laughed - and, surprise surprise, after some postured barking at each other, suddenly they're cooperating against ISIS and who knows what else that isn't public knowledge.
The world is not a hippy commune, there will always be strife somewhere, but if you manage to do that, if you glorious bastards manage to calm the world by excising the biggest cancer it has ever seen together with all other foreign powers - you're modern-day saints and I, as a proud descendant of Józef Piłsudski's legacy, salute you.
