hi, just a quick wikipedia skim on GODFATHER III, plot section, 2nd paragraph, Michael Corleone (mafia/underworld) does a $600 million deal with the VATICAN BANK aka Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR). Founded in 1942 (during WWII).

The purpose of the IOR is "to provide for the safekeeping and administration of movable and immovable property transferred or entrusted to it by physical or juridical persons and intended for works of religion or charity"

I thought this was pretty interesting, I'm a bunch of other passes through the graphic, anyone think this is a connect worth digging into?
