The USD is going to a gold standard! Possible between Thanksgiving and Xmas. Not sure how I know this, someone in here or somewhere else in one of these threads I read it. Something about the new fed chair. Maybe someone else can sleuth this out.
Gold standard is a big deal. The US financial market has been fucked by the fed and Nixon shock in 1971. I've heard that Mugabe in Libya was roasted because he was close to launching a new gold backed currency for the whole of Africa.
