One thing that's being missed in this discussion about the CASE Act is its potential effect on anonymity....
If an anon user posts a meme with a copyrighted photo and the porposed copyright court allows discovery (or even use of subpoenas to 3rd party ISPs), then a John Doe lawsuit can be used as a way to dox memefags who have created effective memes.
This proposed law is a direct attack on us, folks.
