Anyanons here familiar with ‘understory’ and ‘dead fall’? This does NOT explain those crazy pictures of housing developments burnt to the ground surrounded by standing forest, but understory and deadfall is the real fire hazard. Big problem for a second growth forest originally scheduled for second or even third harvesting, but then delayed or canceled due to ‘environmental arguments’… and then it really burns. All that useful and beautiful timber, and deadfall fuel augment in coal/trash power plants… anyanons familiar with how much wood chip is ‘disposed of’ by municipalities and narrow minded Harry Homeowner… loaded on oceangoing ships and sent away as WASTE, used to augment coal plants overseas to offset their “carbon credit”.
The “system”, to include climate fear mongering… is a scam top to bottom. And burning people out for real estate swindles make perfect sense, wouldn’t be the least surprising.
