Satan is a liar and the father of lies.
He lies to his own adherents and promises what he can only deliver as lessee. Jesus Christ, by contrast, holds allodial title over all creation by sovereign right (Matthew 28:18, John 1:3, Hebrews 1:1-4, Colossians 1:15-20).
Satan knows the end and seeks to sweep as many into perdition as possible. A third of the angels followed him in the first rebellion against God.
These spirits are stupid.
