'Zero Bubble' is where a submarine needs to be for the computers to accurately assess the firing of missiles from the submarine.
Zero Bubble defines that the submarine is level in both the x and y position relative to the earth. Without a 'Zero Bubble' position, the missiles would have to use more fuel to get onto the flight path necessary to attack their pre-programmed target.
