Thanks SOCF! Just had a look at it: Saved bread #14315 using savepageWE into the same folder where QClockView lives – updating worked w/o any trouble.

After that, in the same folder, I renamed "oldArchive.html" back to "extractHTML_Q.html", did "wget https://8kun.top/qresearch/res/11200023.html", and used "11200023.html" for the update – worked just fine as well (pic relates).

So since I know you're using linux, the question now is: What have I done differently than you?

Have tried WaterFox (an older version) and updating works just fine w/ "HTML-only" option. Since you mentioned it, it would seem wget broke, if only for tonight. Kek!

Sometimes tracing bugs just doesn't seem to work …
