Stoopid question: Wouldn't a clinical psychology degree include studies of how lie detectors work? Would a clinical psychology professor have access to one for lab experiences? A great deal is being verbalized on credibility based on the fact that someone took a lie detector test. Who gave it?

Imagine questions like these:

Have you studied the workings of lie detectors?

Did those studies include the scientific reasons that they are not allowed in court?

Did those studies include the methods that can be use make a lie detector have false readings?

Do you have access to lie detector or similar device personally or through the school?

Have you ever used it in labs or otherwise?

Have you ever practiced manipulating lie detector tests?

But what do I know?
