I had similar worries myself. But consider this too:
-
Bush may have "endorsed" Kav in order to undermine conservative support.
-
The Dems are likely to take a beating in November because of their performance. A real Pyrrhic victory if if this hypothesis is true.
-
Feinstein and other Dem leaders, as well as Blasey-Ford and the other accusers, are no under investigation, which will likely lead to more embarrassment for the Dems.
-
We're looking at Kav's actions from nearly 20 years ago, as a guy doing his job as a lawyer for the DoJ. What's his view today?
-
Would anyone really put his family through that nightmare for Bush and Cheney?
We'll have to see what happens next. But I'm not too worried (yet).
