There were apparent gunshots in the video and witnesses report emergency vehicles.
Some witnesses say they watched the lights come on in the live feed before dawn came.
Debunkers say it was just the exposure setting of the camera. That the roads were blocked in Rome due to Covid restrictions, nothing more.
I don't see anything open-source that will confirm it one way or another.
The Conservative Beaver which broke the story claims an "insider source".
The pope has been seen since that story broke but some believe it is a body double, or hologram, or something weirder like a "clone".
