It's not so far-fetched to consider, when certain celestial objects behaved in certain ways, humans responded by behaving in certain was. If people responded to Saturn's rising by killing other people, then it follows that Saturn was considered evil, even revered. Modern man does not follow the stars the way it used to. It's no longer the only game in town. Shit, more people watch CNN at night than do watch the stars overhead.
