Why are you having to conserve food? Fix THAT. If you can't afford food, find your local church pantry. I live in a little southern town and there are a half-dozen within 3-4 miles that I could go to and come away with a months worth of groceries (free!) every week. Surely there are similar programs near you? (I am legally and permanently disabled due to multiple injuries AND the unwillingness of the State of Michigan to re-train a 50 year old white man. I have now been on the public tit for almost 20 years.)
