It's unclear what happened before the video started, and I'm not in any way encouraging unjust cancel culture.

However, if that tire store gets put out of business because of the actions taken by the employees, it would set an example for everyone else to not be such a karen about the masks.

One thing you're not seeing/hearing in these videos/anecdotes about people accosting each other about not wearing a mask is when the karen gets completely shut down.

It never happens.

The more times these karens get properly put in their place, the less this kind of thing will happen.

Maybe if the tire store gets sued for millions and is forced to close their doors forever, that will help the situation.

That video was hard to watch.

Only thought that came to my mind the whole time is 'i wish a motherfucker would try that shit on me'.

Then again, I tend to typically be cool in public.

I've been accosted twice, and both times I was able to skirt the situation without incident (and keep shopping).

Once by an employee, once by a karen.

Both were last summer, within a week of one another.

This story is a firm reminder for every smart American to bring your pepper spray and gun wherever you go.

Don't leave home without them.

If someone wants to citizens arrest you for not wearing a mask, they should not be emboldened by the precedent that they can get away with it.
