American commentator Deroy Murdock spoke this morning at CPAC Orlando on election fraud.

Murdock spoke about election fraud, how it happens and the best ways to prevent voter fraud.

Later on a panel, Murdoch put part of the blame of the riots on US judges who failed to get involved in the election and called out the fraud.

Deroy is on to something.

The US government allowed massive corruption to take place in the 2020 election.

They are culpable.

Fox News Contributor and National Review editor Deroy Murdock said Federal judges who tossed out lawsuits filed on behalf of the Trump campaign are responsible for the “chaos that ensued.”

During a CPAC panel discussion that focused on allegations of voter fraud and the 2020 general election, Murdock was asked why dozens of federal judges, many of whom were appointed by Trump, tossed out lawsuits filed on behalf of the Trump campaign, many for lack of standing. And in Murdock’s esteem, there was significant legal chaos that followed as a result.

“I think the judges didn’t want to get involved,” he said, and that “they didn’t do their jobs,” which earned applause from the assembled audience. He then compared their inactions to a home plate umpire during the bottom of the ninth inning of a seventh game of the World Series who refused to call a game-winning slide at home plate.

“Rather than me making a good call or bad call, he doesn’t make a call, and what happens, the fans in the stands start fighting with each other, and chaos ensues,” he continued.

Marsha Blackburn: Big Tech ‘Aiding and Abetting’ China’s Push for ‘Global Dominance’

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday that big tech is “aiding and abetting” China’s mission for “global dominance.”

“China and big tech, they have a cozy relationship,” Blackburn said. “And they have been allowing the Chinese Communist Party to spew all of their information. I can’t find anywhere they’ve been censored or blocked or banned.”

“Big tech is aiding and abetting the Chinese Communist Party in their push for global dominance, and we are going to have to stand against it,” she added.

Blackburn said that by enacting the “virtual you” agenda, Americans could fight back against big tech’s dominance and censorship practices.

“This is what we will tell big tech: ‘you cannot track, follow, listen, data mine, or share your information, your information with a third party without getting your explicit consent,'” she said. “It is your privacy.”

Blackburn remarked that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg once admitted Facebook acts more “like a government than a company.”

The Tennessee Republican said she would work to remove big tech’s Section 230 legal immunity to prevent censorship and preserve those protections for big tech’s smaller competitors so that established tech giants and newer companies compete on a more even playing field.

She added that conservatives must tell “big tech and big media” that “enough is enough.”

“We will not stand for them to cancel conservatives; we will not stand for them shutting us down on social media,” she added.

UK Convicts SBM’s Ex-Executive in Unaoil Case

A London jury convicted on Wednesday a former executive of Single Buoy Moorings Inc. (SBM) for conspiring to bribe Iraqi public officials in order to secure lucrative oil contracts in the years following the overthrow of Saddam Hussain in 2003, the U.K. Serious Fraud Office (SFO) said in a statement.

“A jury found the former senior sales manager, Paul Bond, guilty on two counts of conspiracy to give corrupt payments following a retrial of his case at Southwark Crown Court,” read the statement.

SFO underlined that Bond’s has been the latest in a string of convictions related to the Unaoil bribery case, “which has uncovered the payment of over US$17 million worth of bribes to secure contracts worth $1.7 billion for Unaoil and its clients.”

In an attempt to rebuild the economy of the war-torn country, in 2007 the Iraqi Ministry of Oil made a “master plan,” setting up a strategy to quadruple the country’s oil exports within five years. The Ministry, as SFO recalled, then tasked the state’s South Oil Company (SOC) to “commission new oil pipelines and offshore mooring buoys (SPMs) in the Persian Gulf.”

“Consulting on behalf of SBM Offshore and working with Paul Bond directly, Unaoil employees paid over $900,000 in bribes to Iraqi public officials at the SOC and the Ministry of Oil to win a $55 million contract for SBM for the provision of the SPMs,” according to SFO.

Through bribes, Bond and others also managed to buy access to sensitive information on SOC’s competitive tendering requirements,” and “skew the process in SBM’s favour.”

SFO last year secured the convictions of Bond’s co-conspirators and former Unaoil territory managers for Iraq, Stephen Whiteley and Ziad Akle, as well as Unaoil’s former partner in Iraq, Basil Al Jarah.

The Oil Ministry’s projects “were crucial to the reconstruction of the Iraqi oil sector and the future prosperity of the fledgling state’s economy,” according to SFO Director, Lisa Osofsky.

She stressed that Bond and his co-conspirators knew that and yet “corrupted the tender process for financial gain.”

FDA Panel Unanimously Endorses J&J Covid Vaccine

While it was so widely expected the announcement was merely a formality, just after 5pm on Friday the FDA Advisory Panel voted unanimously (22-0) to endorse the (one-shot, no mRNA) J&J vaccine, saying the benefits outweigh the risks, and recommended the agency grant emergency authorization, moving the nation's third vaccine one step closer to getting into Americans' arms.

The vaccine was 66% effective in protecting any cases of moderate to severe illness. It was 85% effective against severe cases of COVID-19 and completely prevented hospitalizations and death, four weeks after inoculation.

The FDA could now give the green light to the single-dose vaccine as early as Saturday, and it probably will.

Vaccinations will then begin as soon as a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) panel recommends the vaccine and the CDC accepts that recommendation. The CDC panel is scheduled to meet Sunday.

"We are at the precipice of having another vaccine in our toolbox," CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said Friday. "Having an additional safe and effective vaccine will help protect more people faster."

The Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine is different from the other two already on the market and could be a potential game changer. It is administered in a single dose, and does not need to be frozen when shipped and stored. It is also not based on the highly controversial mRNA technology used by Pfizer and Moderna. Unlike those two, the JNJ vaccine is what’s called a viral vector vaccine.

To create this vaccine, the Johnson & Johnson team took a harmless adenovirus – the viral vector – and replaced a small piece of its genetic instructions with coronavirus genes for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

After this modified adenovirus is injected into someone’s arm, it enters the person’s cells. The cells then read the genetic instructions needed to make the spike protein and the vaccinated cells make and present the spike protein on their own surface. The person’s immune system then notices these foreign proteins and makes antibodies against them that will protect the person if they are ever exposed to SARS-CoV-2 in the future.

The adenovirus vector vaccine is safe because the adenovirus can’t replicate in human cells or cause disease, and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein can’t cause COVID–19 without the rest of the coronavirus.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the Kingdom’s government completely rejects what was stated in the U.S. report provided to Congress on the crime of killing citizen Jamal Khashoggi.

On Friday afternoon, over two years after the Oct.2018 brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence has finally released its official report to the public on his killing, which is based mostly on the prior CIA investigation.

Romney, Schumer Advisers Among Dozens Of Congressional Staffers Participating In Chinese Communist Party Exchange Program.

The U.S.-China Transpacific foundation – a Chinese Communist Party-funded group – has sponsored several trips to China for U.S. Congressional staff including Mitt Romney’s top National Security Policy Advisor and Chuck Schumer’s Senior Advisor, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.

Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) filings reveal a 2015 letter wherein China’s Ambassador to the U.S. requests approval from the Obama administration for the U.S.-China Transpacific Foundation (UCTPF) to sponsor trips to China for congressional staff.

The letter to then-Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Richard Stengel noted the Chinese Communist Party would “fund all activities of this program”:

“The Government of the People’s Republic of China, as represented by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the U.S., is the sponsor of this program. It will fund all activities of this program and no private funds will be used. However, no funding will be provided for expenses incurred by or for any member of the family or household of the federal employees participating in the program. The National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs will be the host organizations in China.”

Stengel ultimately approved the request, noting he was “pleased” to do so.

Shortly after, a host of American lobbying firms began to ink lucrative contracts with the foundation to implement the proposed trips. As a Capitol Counsel filing notes, it was retained to “assist with Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act (MECEA) approved travel to China.”

“The program is intended to provide the Members of Congress and/or the congressional staff the opportunity to enhance their understanding on the cultural, economic, political and social developments of the People’s Republic of China, thus helping strengthen U.S.-China relations,” FARA filings added.

In contrast, the Trump administration terminated MECEA programs including the UCTPF exchange, dubbing them “propaganda tools.”

Guilty.

At least seven exchange programs occurred in the short period between October 2017 and October 2019.

In April 2019 “at the invitation of US-China Transpacific Foundation, Megan Reiss, National Security Policy Advisor of the United States Senator Mitt Romney, led a delegation of twelve congressional staff on a visit to China,” per the UCTPF.

And in April 2018, “Ryan McConaghy, Assistant Democratic Secretary of the United States Senate, previously Staff Director at the Democratic Policy and Communications Center run by Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, led a delegation of eleven congressional staff on a visit to China.”

The former Schumer aide’s trip included a visit to the “hometown of the first leader of People’s Republic of China, Mao Zedong” where UCTPF professes the “delegation gained an in-depth understanding of his revolutionary efforts.”

Federal Judge Rules CDC Eviction Moratorium Unconstitutional

Good news for limited government advocates. A federal judge in Texas has ruled that the moratorium on evictions ordered by the Centers for Disease Control is unconstitutional.

The CDC ruling had been challenged by a group of property owners and landlords who argued that the eviction ban exceeded the government’s authority to act. Judge John Barker agreed.

In a broad ruling, while Judge Barker stopped short of issuing an injunction ordering the CDC to cease enforcing the policy, he had some telling words for the government.

“The federal government cannot say that it has ever before invoked its power over interstate commerce to impose a residential eviction moratorium. It did not do so during the deadly Spanish Flu pandemic. Nor did it invoke such a power during the exigencies of the Great Depression. The federal government has not claimed such a power at any point during our Nation’s history until last year,” Barker wrote.

“Although the COVID-19 pandemic persists, so does the Constitution,” Barker, a Trump appointee, wrote.

The ruling punctuates a legal effort that began when a group of Texas landlords and property owners sued the CDC and the Department of Health and Human Services in October over the Eviction Moratorium Order that was issued by the Trump administration in September.

The order, citing the fact that “COVID-19 presents a historic threat to public health,” put a temporary halt on residential evictions.

But the property owners argued in their lawsuit that the federal government didn’t have the power to stop evictions. Barker sided with that argument, writing in his ruling that Congress also lacked the authority to grant the CDC the power to halt evictions nationwide, and noted that the moratorium threatened to encroach on landlords’ rights under state law.

Back in September when the CDC first issued the ban on evictions, many questioned why a public health agency was getting involved in an interstate commerce matter. Liberals saw it as “creative.” Everyone else saw it as dangerous.

But it’s an open question whether Barker’s ruling can withstand any kind of appeal. Many judges are enamored with the idea of expanding the power of the government in a crisis and take a far broader view of government responsibilities. It’s likely that proponents of the eviction ban will find a friendly judge somewhere to reimpose it.

The problem is that something has to be done or there are likely to be millions of people thrown out into the streets and hundreds or even thousands of landlords going under. There are an estimated 10 million tenants who are currently in arrears to their landlords — some by several months. Landlords themselves are desperate as many of them have multiple tenants who aren’t paying rent.

The situation begs for a solution for both tenants and landlords from Congress. But like all other issues demanding attention from Congress, nothing is likely to get done.

School principal suspended after teaching students about Big Tech censorship

A school principal in Tennessee is suing his school district and its superintendent for suspending him after he taught kids about Big Tech censorship. The lawsuit claims his First and Fourteenth Amendment rights were violated.

Following the events of January 6, the Shelby County Schools superintendent Joris Ray told principals to discuss the Capitol riot as a “teachable moment.” Cordova High School’s Principal Barton Thorne did exactly what the superintendent said.

In a virtual classroom, Thorne talked to students about the threat of Big Tech censorship in the aftermath of the riot. The riot at the US Capitol was used as a justification for Facebook, Twitter and more to censor President Trump and other conservatives.

Thorne accused these platforms of deciding who gets to speak and what message or ideology to amplify.

“I’m not going to tell you what to think, I just want to help you think,” Principal Thorne told his students in a online class a few days after the Capitol Hill riot.

His remarks got him swiftly put on administrative leave by the Shelby County Schools (SCS) pending a “professional misconduct” investigation.

On January 25, his lawyers, from the Liberty Justice Center, sent the SCS a warning letter demanding the immediate reinstatement of Thorne and to “publicly apologize for suggesting his actions were inappropriate.”

In the warning letter, Thorne’s lawyers argued that he merely followed Ray’s instructions. The superintendent’s email to educators suggested several educational materials, including a National Constitution Center lesson plan suggesting students should discuss “the importance of free speech on social media,” College Fix found.

The 3rd Quarter record may realisitically never never be broken, and the 4Q results show the economy slowing. Mormon church gives $20M to help send vaccines globally

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Friday it has donated $20 million to help a program aimed at distributing coronavirus vaccines to poor countries around the world.

The donation from the humanitarian arm of the Utah-based faith is going to UNICEF as part of the organization’s work with the United Nations-backed COVAX initiative, which this week sent its long-awaited first deliveries to Ghana and Ivory Coast.

Officials have hailed the initiative as the first deliveries of the vaccine to poor countries during an ongoing outbreak, but it has been hampered by limited global supply of doses and logistical problems. The effort’s goal is to deliver 2 billion shots this year to world’s most vulnerable people in low- and middle-income countries.

Ghana received 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine on Wednesday and the Ivory Coast took delivery of 504,000 on Friday.

More than half of the 16.5 million church members of the faith known widely as the Mormon church live outside the United States, including 666,500 in Africa. Many serve faith outreach missions around the world aimed at recruiting new members.

Church officials hope the program helps children in these countries, where programs run by other organizations that provide children with health, nutritional and educational services have been disrupted by the pandemic, said Gérald Caussé, Presiding Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint Charities in a statement.

The faith doesn’t disclose information about its finances, but commonly announces donations made through the humanitarian arm of the religion that has helped more than 1,000 coronavirus relief projects in 152 countries, according to the church.

Woman, 22, who 'stole Nancy Pelosi's laptop to sell it to the Russians' in Capitol riot is 'seen performing a Nazi salute' in newly-uncovered video wearing a black baseball embossed with 'Black Sun' symbol worn by anti-Muslim Christchurch shooter

A Pennsylvania woman accused of stealing Nancy Pelosi's laptop during the Capitol insurrection allegedly posted a video online in which she performed a Nazi salute and pledged her allegiance to Adolf Hitler.

Riley June Williams, 22, is currently out on bail awaiting trial on charges related to her involvement in the January 6 MAGA riots in Washington, DC.

The care worker's ex-boyfriend, who turned her in to authorities, claimed that she had stolen a laptop from House Speaker Pelosi's office with the intention of selling it to Russia.

Now Williams is making headlines again after British investigative journalism website Bellingcat published a video which purportedly showed her expressing support for Hitler.

The 36-second video, which was also posted by NBC News, shows a woman dancing to techno music and extending her right arm while a voiceover says: 'Hammer was right all along. There is no political solution. All that is left is acceleration. Heil Hitler.'

It's unclear when the video was recorded, but Bellingcat said it received it from an anonymous Antifa activist who identified the woman as Williams.

Williams' lawyer, A.J. Kramer, appeared to confirm the video's authenticity, telling NBC News that it was meant as a 'joke' intended to mock Nazis. Kramer insisted that his client is opposed to Nazi beliefs.

In the video the woman is seen wearing a mask with a skull printed on it and a hat with a circular symbol, both of which are associated with Nazi terror groups.

Bellingcat said the hat symbol is known as a 'Black Sun' - the same emblem worn by Brenton Harrison Tarrant when he killed 50 people in shootings at Muslim mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019.

The person who sent the video to Bellingcat reportedly claimed that they uncovered a slew of other racist and anti-Semitic content on Williams' social media pages.

The skull mask matched one Williams was seen wearing in a photo British broadcaster ITV published last month.

Williams, of Harrisburg, was arrested on January 18 in Central Pennsylvania, a day after she was charged with entering a restricted building, violent entry, and disorderly conduct for rioting inside the Capitol on January 6.

Federal charging documents said Williams was captured on video directing rioters up a flight of stairs inside the legislature towards Pelosi's office.

Before being detained, Williams had reportedly fled the Harrisburg apartment she shared with her mother, frantically packing a bag and telling her she'd return 'in a few weeks' without disclosing where she was heading.

The FBI is believed to still be looking into allegations that she stole a laptop from Pelosi's office, however she has not yet been charged in that matter.

Williams' lawyer refuted the allegations, saying that searches of her car and home had not yielded the laptop.

Mount Eliza ashram guru Russell Kruckman accused of sexually abusing multiple women

For decades people have flocked to a bucolic ashram in one of Melbourne's most exclusive suburbs to hear the guru spin his folksy brand of Eastern mysticism.

To his loyal followers, 78-year-old Russell Kruckman is Shankarananda: a spiritual master, an authority on meditation, and even a conduit to divinity.

But there is something rotten in his Shangri La.

Over months, Background Briefing has spoken to more than 20 of Kruckman's former devotees.

They have alleged mind control and sexual abuse at the hands of the guru.

They describe him as an abusive narcissist, who has preyed on vulnerable women for decades.

"He believes that he is healing these women with his penis," said Nigel Denning, a psychologist who used to attend the ashram and now provides support to people who have left the community.

Other former devotees say he believes he does not answer to any of the laws of the land in which he lives.

One devotee, Naomi, tells us: "When all of the abuse came to light and there was a hint that it would turn legal and go to court, I said to him, 'What are you going to say if you have to go to court? and he said, 'I'll lie'.

"I said, 'You can't lie in a court of law'. And he said, 'My word's higher than the court of law. I'm God'."

When Naomi was 14, she and her sisters were introduced by their father to Kruckman, just before he opened the sprawling ashram on a large, leafy block in Mount Eliza in 1996.

Naomi's first impressions of Kruckman's group were not favourable.

"There were people chanting, swaying, doing what I thought were really weird practices, and I saw Russell and he was in monochrome robes," she said.

"My immediate thought was, 'This is a cult'."

Over the years, though, her father and ashram members drew her into Kruckman's group.

She attended sessions, hoping that the guru's teachings would help her overcome the trauma of her past.

"My dad, prior to leaving the family home, was an alcoholic. My mother was extremely violent," she said.

Possible Biden Pick for NEC Scrubs Twitter Feed

NYT contributing writer Tim Wu called conservatives ‘wretched’ and Brett Kavanaugh a ‘credibly accused sexual assailant’

A New York Times contributing writer who is reportedly the Biden administration's top candidate for a seat on the National Economic Council recently purged his Twitter feed of thousands of Twitter posts, many of which mocked conservatives and Republican leaders.

Tim Wu, who is also a Columbia Law School professor, recently deleted nearly 11,000 tweets that he sent prior to Dec. 2, 2020, Fox News reported on Thursday.

Wu also appeared to scrub several highly charged partisan messages he posted on Twitter after Dec. 2, 2020, according to archived copies reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. In one dating from Dec. 12, Wu wrote that a Wall Street Journal op-ed that criticized Jill Biden was "a reminder that the old-fashioned pre-Trump conservatives were pretty wretched too."

The news comes as President Joe Biden's nominee for Office of Management and Budget director, Neera Tanden, faces bipartisan opposition in the Senate for her own tweets attacking conservatives and Bernie Sanders supporters.

Politico reported earlier this week that Wu is likely to be appointed to the White House National Economic Council. The position does not require confirmation.

On Nov. 9, 2020, Wu mused: "I feel like a symposium could well devoted [sic] to, who was worse, Bush or Trump, and why. Does still seem to stir debate. I am personally torn, mainly because of the Iraq war on false pretenses, the torture, and then more torture."

The Times contributor encouraged Trump administration officials to intentionally defy the president's orders, claiming that "officials who decline to obey Trump's orders are, in fact, not so much committing treason, but avoiding it by obeying their oath to uphold the Constitution."

Wu also used Donald Trump's hospitalization with coronavirus as an opportunity to take a swipe at conservatives.

"Even if not a single person in the world had said something disrespectful while Trump is in hospital, the right would need to invent that person to hold on to their precious sense of victimhood," Wu wrote.

Last January, Wu took aim at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.).

"I wonder what exactly was going on in Mitch McConnell's brain as he swore ‘I will do impartial justice?'" Wu wrote. "My guess: ‘blah blah blah do I hear someone talking, blah-di-blah blah blah.'"

In other tweets, Wu, who clerked for Supreme Court justice Stephen Breyer in the 1990s, referred to Brett Kavanaugh as "that screamer" and a "credibly accused sexual assailant."

"This has transcended any question of ‘what will happen to the Court' and [has] become the question of whether villainy will be punished or not," Wu wrote.

Neither Wu nor the White House responded to requests for comment.

‘Congress has not authorized war in Syria,’ says Matt Duss

A top aide for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) who is reportedly in line to join the Biden administration took to Twitter Friday morning to assail the administration’s surprise airstrike in Syria by U.S. forces, the first military action in the war-torn country authorized by President Joe Biden.

Matt Duss, a Sanders aide who has established himself as a leading anti-Israel activist on the left, wrote that "Congress has not authorized war in Syria," echoing criticism from many on the left who see the military strike on Syria-based Iranian militias as an illegal and unconstitutional act of war by the Biden administration.

The remark, one of several criticisms leveled by far-left foreign policy observers, comes as Duss is reportedly in line for a job at Biden's State Department. While his rumored hiring has garnered praise from the Democratic Party’s left flank, it is unusual for prospective hires to accuse their prospective employers of war crimes.

It is not the first time Duss has criticized the president—last year he accused Biden "of undermining [former president Barack] Obama's peace effort" between the Israelis and Palestinians, saying that Biden's pro-Israel approach "has been wholly discredited by the last three years."

It remains unclear what position Duss is in consideration for at the State Department. He is one of more than 100 hundred hires the progressive community is championing for jobs in the Democratic administration in hopes of pushing the State Department further left on foreign policy issues. In addition to his anti-war advocacy, Duss is a longtime critic of the U.S. alliance with Israel and has pushed to limit cooperation between America and the Middle East’s sole democracy.

Duss did not return a request for comment from the Washington Free Beacon.

Duss is not alone in opposing U.S. strikes on terrorist positions in Syria. White House press secretary Jen Psaki questioned the legitimacy of such operations in 2017, when the Trump administration authorized similar military operations against Iranian-linked forces. Vice President Kamala Harris also referred to U.S. military strikes in Syria as illegal in 2018, saying the Trump administration should not be permitted to conduct attacks without congressional approval.

Do you remember when the FBI used to search for and offer rewards for information on terrorist killers?

That was before the Trump years.

Now the FBI is spending tens of millions on locating Trump supporters who walked through the US Capitol on January 6th.

Democrat-promoted groups Antifa and Black Lives Matter caused nearly $2 billion in damages last year alone.

Trump supporters and the Antifa activists who joined them may have caused $20,000-$100,000 in damages on Janary 6th at the US Capitol?

So it only makes sense that the FBI would be searching for Trump supporters who stormed the US Capitol or were let in by Capitol police officers.
