That's cool, Lin
I had two dogs at one point when I was a 9 year old anon. One was named "Sugar", and the other, "Spice". Sugar and Spice were a Boston terrier mix, and a German Shepard mix (respectively). Things happened, and mom divorced stepdad, and we had to leave the dogs with him. Step dad worked at the Atlanta airport at the time, and made friends with a guy named Charlie. Stepdad told him the story about the split. Charlie was a nice guy, and of course he heard about the dogs and asked stepdad what he planned to do with them. Long story short, Charlie adopted the dogs from stepdad, and they "lived happily ever after".
Good people treat animals good, Lin. Good to see that you do the same.
Thank you, Charlie. You made a person you never met very happy knowing you had a heart big enough to take care of two very loving and wonderful companions. I hope there's internet in Heaven because I've always wanted to thank you in person for adopting them.
And that's the story of how less fortunate kid knew Eddie Murphy's brother's name before anyone else in my neighborhood.
