It seems that if not for a handful of people, I was going to get my little strawman ass raped bloody. That's the game though. Luck was there, but so was diligence. The short of it is, I was chosen before somebody tried to turn something into a competition. I can't see everything clearly from my side, but that was how it felt.
It's like all the people I thought were bad ended up being better to one nonanon, than the people he thought were helping him ended up being in the end.
I don't regret anything except not saying thank you more.
