Have a nagging question that keeps running through my head. What if there are not as many illegal aliens in this country as we think? What if the people coming to this country through all nonlegal avenues of entry are actually delivering themselves or being delivered to the traffickers? What if the DS doesn't want an accurate census because the projected number of illegals are no longer here?
That would pose a lot more questions. Where are those people? While we hear that illegals pose a burden to our welfare and other systems, could it be that the cost does not reflect the true number of aliens who have actually entered the country and then disappeared?
Every single illegal border crosser has been accounted for in the process you describe?

How easy would it be for the system you describe to disappear certain individuals or groups? The illegals have made themselves very vulnerable. Predators throughout an illegal's journey to and beyond the border can take advantage?
