I live in a red state, totally open. 85% have masks on, 15% do not. We don't even have an illegal "mandate" here, for chrissakes, but 85% have masks on anyway. Because they just do whatever the TV tells them to do.

That 85% are fucking dead to me, including my parents. Fucking zombies, every one. Totally agree that the 'rona narrative is crumbling, but it's only crumbling for us–the normie keeps on being stupid, and continues reaching into realms of stupid I didn't think were even possible, and I really can't see any way to save them at this point.

It's like there's two different realities now; objective reality, and screen reality. Everyone in the latter category is not ever coming back to us, and that's a whole lot more than 4-6%. I am trying to make peace with that knowledge. It sucks, but I'm used to suck.

I mostly just want them to get out of our way at this point, so we can get on with the business of making shit real again.
