2 episodes of “Q: Into the Storm” still yet to be released. For those who care to know but not to watch, in episode 4, CM says he knows without a doubt that Steve Bannon is Q. His “validation” is that the IP addresses of some Q posts have come from Bannon’s house or from properties of other Trump associates (Michael Avenatti) nearby. The “investigator” in the documentary doesn’t dismiss it but also doesn’t necessarily buy it either. As we know, IP addresses may be pinned to a certain location but accessed from thousands of miles away. The investigator believes CM may be deflecting in saying Bannon is Q as the 8ch board admin would definitely be able to manipulate an IP address to make it appear as though Q posts were coming from Bannon’s residence. I’ll post more interesting information when the final episodes (5 & 6) are released.
They get into the cryptic nature of the posts a bit but don’t really get into Q proofs per se. They did mention 10 days of darkness but the investigator actually correlates that with 8ch being down for 10 days. He even has CM talking about how 8ch was going to be down for 10 days (at the time) and what a coincidence it was. The funny thing is CM and Jim go out of the way to say they’re not Q, but the investigator is a bit more than suspicious that they took over the 8ch platform after Q was kicked off of another platform (can’t recall if it was 4ch or Reddit) and Q came right over after they did. In the eyes of the investigator it was too perfect to not be a coincidence.
Of course the documentary goes into hate speech and the Christchurch manifesto. They have clips of congressional hearings where they talk about the dangers of the platform and section 230. Jim and Ron of course don’t back down. This other guy though (Fred I think?) who’s a disabled person with a bone disease, and who worked for Jim for a while, says the platform needs to be done away with.
Christianity is deemed the only real threat because it’s the truth. Truth is exclusive and all other religions are a lie. That’s why Christianity is by far the most persecuted religion.
They’re more or less indifferent. I expected a lot of mocking and propaganda but they’ve actually been respect for the most part. I didn’t start watching with the notion I’d be persuaded one way or another. I was simply intrigued that a mainstream outlet would even bother to do a documentary on Q. In my estimation it has potential to awaken or at least intrigue normies who have never heard of Q and 8ch or have only heard falsehoods. It might actually bring more people to the platform when all is said and done. Time will tell.

I agree. I definitely didn’t expect HBO to try to sell Q and 8ch to anyone. My hope is that they remain mostly indifferent in the last 2 episodes and don’t go off the deep end with mockery and negative propaganda.
