>I have noticed that the mega churches have gone that route over the last few decades with their la-la-la I love Jesus songs. Just the same few notes and words over and over again.
"Church" drives me up the fucking wall, these days, and that's one of the reasons for it. Conversely, churches needed a way to compete with the media age as that's what's causing such a drop in attendance over the decades.
The real issue with living in the information age is Kids/teens have more entertaining shit to do than think about the ramifications of being born a flawed and worthless person until they invite Jesus in their hearts to fix them. It gets even worse when some of them suddenly wake up and realize just how awful this world really is with the trafficking and child abuse that's allowed to happen because God has to allow it for some odd reason. Kids aren't stupid. It's just that many seem to lack some morals/respect to a degree. This generation is a handful because of the unfettered access to the information super highway.
