I read earlier that it was “harvested” from the young.
In the food industry “harvesting a crop of chickens” is a euphemism for killing and butchering tens of thousands of birds from the huge sheds used in the Industry.
Is the “ Harvesting” of blood products done in the same way?
Investigation is needed.
