Exodus from blue states, covid and voting.

I was in the "thinking room" this morning and my thoughts went deep down this rabbit hole.

We know that it does not take millions of votes to change the outcome of an election, just a few thousand in certain states; the same can be said for turning a red state purple or blue.

The ongoing covid hysteria has shown business that it can save money by having people work from home. The unrest in big cities has shown residents that maybe they need to live elsewhere.

Look at the housing markets in red states at the moment, they are booming. From Idaho, through the Dakotas, New Mexico to Texas, try getting lumber or builders, the wait is over a year and the estimates for a construction job, in some places is only good for a week.

LA county alone can displace more than enough people into the western red states to turn them all purple or blue.

What if the actual plan in blue states, i.e. continous, draconian restrictions due to covid and civil unrest, was to drive people into less restrictive and safer rural areas of red states, to change the "color" of the electorate and flip those states?
