Minnesota National Guard Targeted in Drive By Shooting Hours After Rep. Maxine Waters Told BLM To Be ‘More Confrontational’

The Minnesota National Guard was fired at in a drive by shooting in north Minneapolis early Sunday morning — just hours after Rep. Maxine Waters told the Black Lives Matter extremists to be “more confrontational.”

The 82-year-old California congresswoman broke the curfew set in place to curb rioting and marched after midnight with the far-left extremists that have been terrorizing Brooklyn Center.

Local news station WCCO reports that the Minnesota National Guard said its members, along with Minneapolis police officers, were “providing neighborhood security” near Penn and Broadway avenues when someone fired shots from a white SUV.

Two members of the guard had minor injuries. One of them was taken to the hospital with cuts from shattered glass.

“I am relieved to know none of our Guardsmen were seriously injured,” said Maj. Gen. Shawn Manke, the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard . “This event highlights the volatility and tension in our communities right now. I ask for peace as we work through this difficult time.”

“We’ve got to stay in the streets, and we’ve got to demand justice,” Waters told the militant leftists.

“We’re looking for a guilty verdict,” the representative added, speaking of Chauvin.

“And if we don’t, we cannot go away,” she added. “We’ve got to get more confrontational.”

When asked about the fact that she was breaking curfew, she said “I don’t know what curfew means.”

“A curfew means that ‘I want y’all to stop talking,’” she said, adding, “I don’t agree with it.”

The extremist politician urged people to continuing protesting, violating the curfew.

At least 8 passengers killed, some 100 injured as train derails in Egypt

A packed passenger train has derailed in Egypt, with social media footage showing rail tracks damaged and several carriages overturned. There are reports of dozens of casualties as emergency teams respond.

The train, which was said to be traveling from Cairo to Mansoura, derailed outside the city of Benha on Sunday afternoon. Early reports said at least eight people were killed in the crash, though others suggested there might be more victims.

Local authorities said more than 97 people were also injured in the accident, according to the Facebook page of the Qalyubia Governorate.

Dozens of ambulances were rushed to the scene to provide first aid and transport the injured to local hospitals. So far, no official information has emerged on the fatalities.

The crashed train comprised carriages of different types, with at least four newer air-conditioned cars attached at the train’s rear. Three of these apparently detached from the rest of the train, coming off-track and overturning.

Two further carriages remained attached to the rest of the train but got also overturned. Multiple carriages lost their wheels during the crash, footage from the scene shows.

Speeding is believed to be the cause of the incident, local newspaper Al-Shorouk said, citing “sources familiar with the investigation.” The train was reportedly moving at a speed of 120km per hour through a track section that was under repairs. The permitted speed limit there was just 30km per hour, the paper added.

The United States and China, the world’s two biggest carbon polluters, agreed to cooperate to curb climate change with urgency, just days before President Joe Biden hosts a virtual summit of world leaders to discuss the issue.

The agreement was reached by U.S. special envoy for climate John Kerry and his Chinese counterpart Xie Zhenhua during two days of talks in Shanghai last week, according to a joint statement.

The two countries “are committed to cooperating with each other and with other countries to tackle the climate crisis, which must be addressed with the seriousness and urgency that it demands,” the statement said.

No doubt Kerry signed away billions from the US taxpayer to go to who knows where. The article goes on to state as if a fact that this agreement is “key to a success of global efforts to curb climate change”. Both climate change and the US and China’s involvement to curb it are bold and disputed claims.

After the COVID disaster last year and the resulting loss of rights, jobs, and money, Kerry mentions nothing about holding China accountable for that.

Also, ask the people of Hong Kong how well China upholds agreements they sign.

China promised not to mess with Hong Kong for 50 years in 1997 when the UK passed control of the tiny country to China, but today, less than 25 years later China has taken over Hong Kong’s government and is imprisoning those who stand up to the communist nation.

Western US States Prepare For 1st-Ever Water Shortage Declaration; Hoover Dam Hydroelectric Generation At Risk

As the man-made lakes which store water for millions of people in the western United States are projected to shrink to historic lows in the coming months, state officials prepare for what could trigger the first-ever federally declared water shortage, which would prompt cutbacks in water usage in Arizona and Nevada.

According to the Associated Press, the US Bureau of Reclamation's 24-month projections released this week forecast that less water will flow from the Rocky Mountains through Lake Powell and Lake Mead, and into the Southwest desert regions to the Gulf of California. The two lakes are expected to suffer from water shortages that could threaten the supply of the Colorado River which farms and sprawling cities rely on.

Lake Mead is projected to fall below 1,075 feet for the first time in June 2021, the level which will trigger the shortage declaration under agreements negotiated by seven states which are reliant on Colorado River water; Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.

That said, the April projections won't have any material affect unless conditions fail to improve - in which case the Bureau of Reclamation will declare a Level 1 shortage condition, resulting in cuts that would take effect next January.

Arizona, Nevada and Mexico have voluntarily given up water under a drought contingency plan for the river signed in 2019. A shortage declaration would subject the two U.S. states to their first mandatory reductions. Both rely on the Colorado River more than any other water source, and Arizona stands to lose roughly one-third of its supply.

Water agency officials say they’re confident their preparation measures, including conservation and seeking out alternative sources, would allow them to withstand cuts if the drought lingers as expected. -AP

"The study, while significant, is not a surprise. It reflects the impacts of the dry and warm conditions across the Colorado River Basin this year, as well as the effects of a prolonged drought that has impacted the Colorado River water supply," said Arizona officials from the state's Department of Water Resources and the Central Arizona Project, in a joint statement.

In Nevada, special "straws" have been constructed to draw water from further down lake mead if levels fall - and the state has created a credit system where it can 'bank' recycled water back into the reservoir without having it count towards its allocation, according to the report.

Southern Nevada Water Authority director of water resources, Colby Pellegrino, told customers recently that those preparation measures would insulate them from any cuts - but warned that more action is needed.

"It is incumbent upon all users of the Colorado River to find ways to conserve," she said in a statement.

Asked about recent polling showing nearly half of Republicans are still hesitant about receiving a Covid-19 vaccine, White House health advisor Fauci called the trend “frustrating” and “paradoxical.”

“It’s almost paradoxical that, on the one hand, they want to be relieved of the [public health] restrictions, but, on the other hand, they don’t want to get vaccinated. It just almost doesn’t make any sense,” he told CNN on Sunday.

Fauci has received criticism recently for promoting health restrictions such as avoiding indoor dining and continuing to wear masks in public even after vaccination, leading many to say the health official is feeding into fears regarding vaccines. In his CNN interview, Fauci continued to say vaccinated individuals should continue protecting themselves and others from the virus.

“One can get vaccinated, have no clinical disease at all but get infected, and not even know it,” he explained, adding that someone could “inadvertently transmit it to somebody else who might actually be unvaccinated and get ill.”

In San Francisco, Drug Overdoses Claimed Twice As Many Lives As COVID-19

More than twice as many people died from accidental drug overdoses in San Francisco in 2020 than from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, according to preliminary data released by the city’s office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

A total of 713 people died from drug overdoses in the city in 2020 compared to 255 who died from the CCP virus, commonly known as the coronavirus.

Nationwide, the largest increase in the number of overdose deaths occurred in March and May 2020 and coincided with the CCP virus lockdowns, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“The increases in drug overdose deaths appear to have accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic,” the CDC said in a statement.

Overdose deaths were rising steadily before the lockdowns. During the 12-month period ending in May last year, 81,230 people died from accidental drug overdoses, the largest 12-month total ever recorded. Men accounted for the overwhelming majority of the deaths at 81 percent. Twenty-seven percent of the victims did not have a fixed address.

The trend lines have inverted in 2021, with more people having died from the CCP virus (261) in January through March than from drug overdoses (203). The reversal coincided with the gradual reopening of the city that commenced on Jan. 21. Several business types, including indoor playgrounds and nightclubs, are still not allowed to operate.

Over the course of 2020, fentanyl was behind more overdose deaths than any other drug. China has been the main source of fentanyl and has flooded the United States with the drug in recent years. The CCP subsidizes fentanyl producers, according to Ben Westhoff, an investigative journalist who went undercover into two Chinese fentanyl operations.

“What I learned was that these companies making fentanyl and other dangerous drugs are subsidized by the government. And so when they work in these suburban office parks, for example, the building, the costs for research and development, they have these development zones, they get export tax breaks,” Westhoff told Illegal Tender, a Yahoo podcast.

At least three dead in active shooting in Austin, Texas

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene of an active shooting in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, according to police and reports.

“APD is currently on scene of an active shooting incident at Great Hills and Train Creek Parkway,” the Austin Police Department said on Twitter.

“All residents are advised to shelter in place and avoid the area,” the tweet said.

According to the Austin-Travis County EMS on Twitter, paramedics pronounced three people dead at the scene but have not reported additional victims in the incident.

Police and emergency responders remain at the location of the shootings, KXXV-TV said.

According to a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office incident report, a sexual assault kit was completed at a hospital that same night, meaning the victim must have recovered from the drugs and realized what happened.

“The victim’s been tested, but sometimes the symptoms and they don’t show up for sometimes months at a time. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything comes back OK for him. To go through this, go through this type of a rape changes you forever. Add to it that you may now be HIV positive, it’s a sickening thing,” Deters said.

Sheriff: 3 Dead, 2 Wounded in Shooting at Wisconsin Tavern

KENOSHA, Wis.—Three people were killed and two were left wounded early Sunday in a shooting at a tavern in southeastern Wisconsin, sheriff’s officials said.

Kenosha Sheriff David Beth said the suspect in the shooting at Somers House Tavern in the village of Somers in Kenosha County is still at large, but that he believes the public is not in danger.

“We believe our suspect knew who he was targeting,” Beth said during a Sunday morning news conference. He asked that anyone with information about the incident to contact the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department. Somers is about 30 miles south of Milwaukee, not far from the Wisconsin-Illinois border.

The suspect had been asked to leave the bar but returned and opened fire. Beth left open the possibility that there was more than one suspect. He said he believed at least one handgun was used.

Officials were still working to determine the identities of the people who died. The two people who were wounded were taken to area hospitals. There may have been more people with less serious injuries, and the sheriff’s department has contacted local hospitals to find them, Beth said.

Biden Admin Opens Another Migrant Child Detention Center in Texas

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the opening of yet another Emergency Intake Sites (EIS) to move the ever-increasing numbers of unaccompanied migrant children out of Border Patrol custody. The move mirrors recent announcements by HHS to address the surge in unaccompanied children migrants flooding across the southern border in record numbers.

HHS opened the newest EIS facility at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) in central Texas. The site, located on Lackland Air Force Base, will provide shelter for up to 372 boys aged 13-17 years old. It is the second EIS opened in San Antonio since March.

According to HHS, the EIS shelters provide the required standards of care for children. These include providing clean and comfortable sleeping quarters, meals, toiletries, laundry, and access to medical services. A COVID-19 health screening protocol for all detained children will be implemented to follow CDC guidelines for preventing and controlling communicable diseases. Services are provided by a combination of contractors, and federal staff – including teams from the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

The number of unaccompanied minors in United States custody rose over the last several months and shows no signs of waning. There are more than 22,000 unaccompanied children being held by HHS and CBP at Border Patrol Stations and HHS facilities across the country.

According to a law enforcement source within CBP, Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 19,000 unaccompanied children in March — an all-time monthly record. HHS is scrambling to keep up with the record numbers by adding facilities and increasing capacity to detain the unaccompanied children at a pace not seen before.

In March alone, HHS opened nine facilities to deal with the influx. Although current laws dictate the children may only be in Customs and Border Protection (CBP) custody for 72 hours, many have been detained for over ten days according to law enforcement sources. A number of Border Patrol facilities are facing issues with overcrowding.

According to HHS, 394 unaccompanied children were discharged from custody to sponsors within the United States on Friday. The Border Patrol arrested 450 on the same day. The daily 30-day average for UAC’s apprehended by the Border Patrol stands at 494 per day according to the data released Friday.

The potential detention capacity for unaccompanied children added by the Biden administration since March 1 alone is over 18,000 beds. HHS estimates the cost to house each unaccompanied child in an EIS is approximately $775 per day. The Biden administration thus far has not communicated a clear plan to reduce the influx of unaccompanied children.

Maxine Waters: Derek Chauvin Must Be ‘Guilty, Guilty, Guilty’ or We Take to the Streets

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) joined demonstrators Saturday evening outside the police station in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and told Americans to take to the streets unless Derek Chauvin is convicted for murder in the death of George Floyd.

Waters joined protesters who are angry over the shooting of Daunte Wright, 20, as he fled arrest after a traffic stop earlier this month. Officers discovered that there was a warrant for Wright’s arrest over accusations of attempted aggravated robbery and a gun violation. Police officer Kim Potter threatened to use her Taser against Wright, but shot him instead; he later died.

The incident was followed by protests and riots, just as the Chauvin trial was taking place several miles away.

Israel, Greece sign $1.65bn defense deal

Israel and Greece have signed a defense deal worth $1.65 billion, according to the Israeli Defense Ministry on Sunday, Anadolu Agency reported.

As part of the agreement, Israeli defense contractor Elbit Systems will establish an international training center in Greece to train the Greek Air Force over a period of 22 years.

The exact date the project will commence was not mentioned.

Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said the agreement includes providing Greece with a new M-346 training aircraft while Elbit Systems will assume the task of maintaining all training aircraft throughout the contract period.

On Jan. 5, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced that he had agreed with his Greek counterpart Nikos Panayotopoulos to sign a security cooperation agreement to build, operate and equip a training center for the Greek Air Force for a period of 20 years.

At the time, the private Israeli Channel 12 reported that the Israeli Ministry of Defense had defeated other bidders in winning the project to establish the training center in Greece.

The report also noted that the center will be operated by Elbit Systems which will also provide training, the necessary logistical support, and provide the Greek Air Force with 10 M-346 aircraft manufactured by Italian company Leonardo, also used by the Israeli Air Force Flight Academy.

China Reacts After US and Japan Challenge it in Five Regions and Washington Pledges To Defend Japan With Nuclear Weapons

Both the press conference and the statement addressed a multitude of issues from economic to security to environmental to cyber concerns, but what caught the attention of many, especially Chinese, observers is this sentence: “The United States restated its unwavering support for Japan’s defense under the U.S.-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security, using its full range of capabilities, including nuclear.” The treaty marks its seventieth anniversary this year, first having been signed during the height of the Cold War, as the war in Korea raged, in 1951.

The statement, titled U.S.-Japan Global Partnership for a New Era – also reaffirmed the two nations’ understanding that Article 5 of that pact – “Each Party recognizes that an armed attack against either Party in the territories under the administration of Japan would be dangerous to its own peace and safety and declares that it would act to meet the common danger in accordance with its constitutional provisions and processes” – would apply to China and Japan’s dispute over what Japan and the U.S. refer to as the Senkaku Islands, but China knows as the Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea. (Japan is also embroiled in a dispute with Russia over the Kuril Islands, which Japan, and occasionally the U.S. State Department, refer to as Japan’s Northern Territories.) Suga spoke in the same vein: “We also had serious talks on China’s influence over the peace and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific and the world at large. Lawmakers Rush to Introduce Relief Bills as Military Toxic Exposures Come to Light

Lawmakers have responded to issues surrounding toxic exposures in the military and the decades-long health crisis plaguing the veteran community with a mix of incremental efforts and sweeping health care bills. The looming question is what can make it into law this year while momentum lasts.

Some efforts, including those to provide presumptive care to those sickened by burn pits in the post-9/11 wars, could add enormous costs to the Department of Veterans Affairs, which already has a ballooning budget far outpacing inflation.

Advocates and some lawmakers stress that the stars are aligned to pass significant legislation: Toxic exposure is getting more media attention; Democrats are in control of Congress; and the president has been personally touched by the issue, believing his son Beau died after burn pit exposure in Iraq.

While burn pits are referred to as the post-9/11 generation's Agent Orange, not even all Vietnam veterans can get presumptive care.

This week, three bills on toxic exposure were introduced on Capitol Hill, including a measure from Pennsylvania Reps. Matt Cartwright, a Democrat, and Brian Fitzpatrick, a Republican, that would expand the presumption of Agent Orange exposure to veterans who served in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand during the Vietnam War. It is unclear how many vets would be impacted.

A presumption ruling makes seeking health care and disability compensation from the VA much easier, avoiding the need for veterans to submit a large volume of paperwork showing they both served in the area and were exposed to Agent Orange, which could be nearly impossible to prove.

"Many of those who have been exposed are living with cancers, heart disease or Parkinson's disease," Cartwright said in a statement. "They deserve relief for the pain and hardship this has caused for them and their families."

Another measure from Rep. Jahana Hayes and Sen. Richard Blumenthal, both Connecticut Democrats, would open up disability compensation to the 1,600 veterans exposed to radiation in the aftermath of the Palomares Nuclear DIsaster in Spain.

In January 1966, a U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bomber collided with a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft during a midair refueling over the Spanish village of Palomares, accidentally dropping four hydrogen bombs, far more powerful than the bombs used on Japan, from 31,000 feet to the ground.

The bombs were not armed, making a nuclear explosion unlikely. But two of them set off conventional explosions designed to trigger a nuclear blast.

Troops were sent to clean up the radiation-contaminated area but were given little protective gear. The VA currently does not list Palomares as a radiation-risk activity.

Namechecking Yamina leader Naftali Bennett in a clear signal to Netanyahu that the leader of the right-wing party is not in the prime minister’s pocket, Lapid said, “I want to echo something that my friend Naftali Bennett said last week: Israel cannot afford fifth elections. Israel needs a government.”

Lapid has said that he has offered Bennett to be prime minister first in a rotation agreement between them.

Social media giant censored negative stories about Patrisse Cullors, who spent lavishly on real estate

Facebook cofounder Dustin Moskovitz has poured over $5 million into a network of nonprofits run by Black Lives Matter leader Patrisse Cullors, according to financial disclosure records, raising questions about whether this relationship played a role in the company's decision to censor unflattering news articles about the activist last week.

The social media giant blocked its users from posting links to a New York Post story that revealed Cullors, a self-described Marxist, spent $3.2 million on high-end real estate as her Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation raked in millions in donations.

Facebook said the reporting violated its "privacy and personal information policy." The Post argued that the decision was "so arbitrary as to be laughable" and noted that the media routinely report on real estate purchases by other celebrities and political figures without facing social media censorship.

Several organizations founded by Cullors have been bankrolled by Moskovitz and his wife Cari Tuna, according to records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. Although Moskovitz left Facebook as an employee in 2008, he is still reported to be one of the top stakeholders in the company, with most of his $20 billion net worth coming from his estimated 2 percent holdings.

The Open Philanthropy fund and Open Philanthropy Project, Moskovitz's grant-making vehicles, contributed at least $5.6 million to groups founded by Cullors between 2017 and 2020. The donations include $2.8 million to Dignity and Power Now and more than $2.3 million to Reform L.A. Jails, which were both founded and chaired by Cullors. The Justice Teams Network, a group cofounded by Cullors, received $500,000.

The Open Philanthropy Project did not return a request for comment.

Cullors was paid $20,000 a month by Reform L.A. Jails in 2019, the Daily Caller reported earlier this month.

The National Legal and Policy Center, a watchdog group that has been monitoring Facebook's financial activities and Moskovitz's charitable records, criticized the company's decision to block reporting on Cullors.

"We think this, once again, proves freedom of speech is an option not a feature across the Facebook platform, where their corporate interests are placed above the interests of their users at every turn," said Peter Flaherty, chairman of the NLPC.

Cullors, who helped found the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation in 2013, came under fire from other leaders in the movement after her lavish real estate spending was revealed by the Post. The paper reported that she purchased a $1.4 million home near Malibu, a "custom ranch" in Georgia, and two other California properties worth a total of $3.2 million since 2016.

Hawk Newsome, the head of an unaffiliated group called Black Lives Matter Greater New York, told the Post that the revelations were "really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it's the people that carry this movement."

Neither Facebook nor Cullors responded to requests for comment.

Nearly three months after Donald Trump's departure from the White House, his plans for a politically active post-presidential role are coming into public focus

After a comparatively quiet first five weeks in Palm Beach, Fla., following a final five in Washington plagued by all sorts of chaos, Trump stirred up excitement in late February at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where he addressed an enthusiastic crowd for 90 minutes about moving forward with the America First agenda. That plan is now moving into its operational stages, with the launch of a network of political funding vehicles and public messaging platforms.

Most prominently, there is the former president's leadership PAC — the Save America PAC — which has a war chest totaling more than $85 million heading into the second quarter of this year. That sum positions Trump to make a hefty impact on the upcoming 2022 midterm elections, during which Republicans will attempt to take back control of the House and Senate.

Trump has made it his mission not only to assist Republicans in their effort to reclaim power in Washington, but to select candidates across the country to primary those he views as out-of-sync with the America First platform.

The former president is already deploying resources to help unseat GOP incumbents like Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, whose primary opponent Kelly Tshibaka has hired several former top Trump campaign advisers. Primary candidates challenging GOP incumbents who voted to impeach Trump — including Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois and Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington — are vying for the support of Team Trump.

Top Trump communications adviser Jason Miller recently told "Just the News AM" that the former president is seeking out candidates who are first and foremost "America First conservatives."

"That means someone who supports conservative grassroots when it comes to the more populist positions on trade agreements, trying to get out of some of these endless wars, and trying to make sure that we're not throwing big, massive breaks to the fat cats on Wall Street and in D.C.," said Miller. "We're looking for someone that actually boosts up the working class men and women in America."

Another development on that front is the creation of the former president's Super PAC, which Trump 2016 Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski has been tapped to lead. Trump is looking to "engage in some of these primaries, but we have to be smart about" which ones, Lewandowski told "Just the News AM" following the announcement of the Super PAC's establishment.

Barrage Of Rockets Hit Base Hosting US Troops In Central Iraq

Late on April 18, a barrage of rockets struck Balad Air Base which is located 64 km north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

The RT TV said that three rockets landed in the base. However, Reuters reported that the number of rockets was at least five. From its side, the Sabereen News channel on Telegram claimed that six rockets were actually used in the attack.

US troops are known to be present in the air base, where F-16 warplanes are also deployed. The base also hosts headquarters of American Sallyport Global Holdings.

Citing Iraqi sources, RT reported that two Iraqi service members were wounded in the rocket strike. Meanwhile, the Sabereen News claimed that foreign contractors working for the US-led coalition were also wounded.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, so far. Pro-Iranian factions in Iraq are known for carrying similar attacks on US troops in the country.

This was the second attack on a facility hosting US troops in Iraq this week. On April 15, a suicide drone hit a US military installation in Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Region.

The new rocket attack on Balad Air Base was likely a part of the ongoing military campaign by pro-Iranian forces to push US troops out of Iraq. The US-led coalition usually responds to fatal attacks only.

HTS Militants Entered Town In Turkish-occupied Afrin To Open Smuggling Route With SDF

On April 18, four units of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the de-facto ruler of the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib, entered the town of Bosoufane in the Turkish-occupied area of Afrin.

HTS units were on a mission to establish positions in the town, which is located on the frontline with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Kurdish forces in northern Aleppo.

The attempt to occupy the town was met with anger from Turkish-backed militants. The National Front for Liberation (NFL) deployed reinforcements in the town. Militants from the two sides engaged in what was called a “fest fight”.

The stand-off between HTS and the NFL in Bosoufane came to an end when the SAA shelled the militants gathered in the town. No losses were reported.

Leaked Documents Revealed 11,000 Syrian Mercenaries Are Still Roaming In Libya

More than 11,000 Turkish-backed Syrian militants are still present in Libya despite the recent political settlement in the country, according to leaked official documents released by the Sky News Arabia on April 17.

According to the documents, a total of 11,609 Syrian militants are now in Libya. The number is double that provided by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

So far, Turkey has withdrawn only 1,226 out of 12,835 militants of the so-called Syrian National Army from Libya. Most militants were sent to Libya between 2019 and 2020 to back the now-defunct Government of National Accord against the Libyan National Army.

Syrian militants in Libya were deployed as a follows:

The Suleiman Shah Brigade, sent 1,910 militants to Libya. On February 26, 2021, 126 of them and on February 11, 2021, 90 of them crossed the Kilis border gate to Turkey, and from there they were sent to Libya.

The Hamzat Division sent 1,810 militants to Libya. 40 militants from the Hamza Division came to Turkey through the Kilis border gate on July 25, 2020, and were sent to Libya after 12 days of training in Turkey. A group of 75 people was sent to Turkey on February 23, 2021, and a group of 35 people was sent to Turkey on March 14, 2021 through the Kilis border gate, and from there to Libya.

The al-Mu’tasim Billah Brigade sent 150 militants to Turkey on June 22, 2020. After a week of training in Kirkkhan camp, they were transferred to Libya. In addition, some of them returned after an airstrike on al-Watiya Air Base. Another group crossed into Turkey from the Kilis border gate on July 9, 2020, and from there to Libya.

The Falcons of the North Brigade sent 430 militants to Libya. 45 of them arrived in Turkey on July 17, 2020, and were sent to Libya 10 days after undergoing training at the Kirkkhan camp.

The 9th Division sent 150 militants to Libya. 50 of them were transported to Turkey on December 17, 2020, via the Kilis border gate. After 10-13 days of training at the Kirkkhan camp, they were transferred to Libya.

The Majid Corps sent 978 militants to Libya. 40 of them crossed into Turkey through the Kilis border gate on July 20, 2020, and were sent to Libya after a week training. On July 16, 2020, a group of 65 of them crossed to Turkey through the Kilis gate on the border, and were sent, like other groups, to Libya after receiving training in the Kirkuk camp.

The al-Mu’tasim Division, sent 1170 militants to Libya.

The Corps of Rahman sent 790 militants to Libya.

Ahrar al-Sharqi sent 600 militants to Libya.

The Army of Islam sent 585 militant to Libya.

The al-Waqqas Brigade sent 400 militants to Libya.

The Samarkand Brigade sent 350 militants to Libya.

The Sham Corps sent 365 militants to Libya.

The documents also confirmed that al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, designated as a terrorist group by the UN, had sent 80 of its fighters to Libya.

The ceasefire agreement in Libya reached in October of 2020 calls for the withdrawal of all foreign fighters from Libya. On April 16, the UN Security Council passed a resolution calling for the full implementation of the ceasefire. In spite of this, Turkey is yet to adhere to the agreement and withdraw Syrian militants.

Recently, a number of reports revealed that Ankara had discussed the issue of Syrian militants in Libya with the US and later with Egypt. However, no withdrawal has been reported yet.

Oregon considers 'permanent rule' on face masks, forcing pandemic restrictions indefinitely

Meanwhile, other states are lifting mask mandates altogether

Many states across the United States have rescinded their pandemic-related mandate requiring residents to wear face masks because the COVID-19 vaccines have proven to be highly effective in combatting the virus.

But Oregon may go the complete opposite direction.

What are the details?

A top Oregon health official is considering a "permanent rule," according to the Associated Press, mandating social distancing and the use of face masks inside workplaces indefinitely.

Current regulations expire on May 4, but Michael Wood, administrator of the state's department of Occupational Safety and Health, reportedly wants to alter state regulations to extend the mandate until "revised or repealed."

The proposal only promises to repeal the permanent rule once officials no longer deem face masks necessary.

Although the rule must be adopted as a permanent rule, its purpose is to address the COVID-19 pandemic. Oregon OSHA intends to repeal the rule when it is no longer necessary to address that pandemic. Because it is not possible to assign a specific time for that decision, Oregon OSHA will consult with the Oregon OSHA Partnership Committee, the Oregon Health Authority, and other stakeholders as circumstances change to determine when all or part of the rule can be appropriately repealed.

"We are not out of the woods yet," Wood said, the AP reported.

Wood claimed the proposal is "driven by the pandemic, and it will be repealed," but admitted "it might not need to go away at exactly the same time the state of emergency is lifted."

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) extended her COVID-related state of emergency order in late February, keeping in place some of the strictest COVID restrictions in the nation.

Wood will make a final decision about permanently extending the mask mandate by May 4.

What was the reaction?

Wood's office has been inundated with "a record number of public comments, mostly critical, and nearly 60,000 residents signed a petition against the proposal," the AP reported.

Much of the concern stems from officials refusing to provide the public with specific metrics that would trigger the "permanent rule" to be lifted, especially considering how quickly Americans are becoming vaccinated.

"When will masks be unnecessary? What scientific studies do these mandates rely on, particularly now that the vaccine is days away from being available to everyone? Businesses have had to play 'mask cop' for the better part of a year now. They deserve some certainty on when they will no longer be threatened with fines," state Sen. Kim Thatcher (R) said, the AP reported.

With more than one-quarter of the American population now fully vaccinated, some leaders are bucking the narrative from pandemic leaders like Dr. Anthony Fauci who say that face masks and social distancing are still necessary for even those Americans who are now immune to COVID-19.

"My view is, if you get a vaccine, the vaccines are effective, you're immune. And so act immune," Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Friday.

Washington Post Report May Include Some Accuracy In Indicating that It Was former AG Bill Barr Who Blocked the Release of the Spygate Documents

The Washington Post came out with a story this past week that indicates that former AG Bill Barr was the one to block the release of the Spygate documents.

Since this comes from the Washington Post we have to take it with a grain of salt, but if true, it’s a damning report on the former AG Bill Barr. According to deep state favorite David Ignatius of the Washington Post:

In the Trump administration’s four-year battle with the intelligence community, a recurring character was a brash lawyer named Kashyap P. “Kash” Patel. He appeared so frequently, in so many incarnations, that he was almost a “Zelig” figure in President Donald Trump’s confrontation against what he imagined as the “deep state.”

Patel repeatedly pressed intelligence agencies to release secrets that, in his view, showed that the president was being persecuted unfairly by critics. Ironically, he is now facing Justice Department investigation for possible improper disclosure of classified information, according to two knowledgeable sources who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe. The sources said the investigation resulted from a complaint made this year by an intelligence agency, but wouldn’t provide additional details.

Ignatius reports further:

Patel’s most prominent role was his final job, as chief of staff for acting defense secretary Christopher C. Miller in the administration’s last two months. In that position, according to sources close to events, he challenged the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, and very nearly became acting director of the CIA himself.

This indicates that CIA Head, Gina Haspel, was ready to leave the Trump Administration. She stayed but many had hoped she left much sooner and believed she couldn’t be trusted. Ignatius went on complimenting Patel for his work on Spygate while downplaying the entire corrupt coup as well:

Patel sometimes hit pay dirt. He was the main author of a January 2018 House Intelligence Committee report recounting abuses by the FBI in its application for electronic surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page. Though Democrats at the time were reluctant to agree, facts that emerged later showed serious abuses in the Page investigation, and a former FBI lawyer pleaded guilty last year to falsifying information that was used to apply for warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

Then in his effort to disparage Patel, Ignatius releases the names of the individuals who did not want the American people to know who was behind the Trump – Russia coup and what the facts were. These individuals prevented the release of documents that would have provided this information to the public and one individual made the final call:

The battle against the deep state continued, meanwhile. Patel kept pushing, along with DNI Ratcliffe, for declassification of memos challenging the origins of the Russia investigation. Nakasone strongly dissented, and Esper backed him up in an October letter to Ratcliffe “urging that the information not be released due to the harm it would do to national security, including specific harm to the military,” a senior defense official said. Haspel, too, strongly opposed release of the information. Their argument for protecting sensitive information was finally supported by Attorney General William P. Barr, and Trump backed away, a source close to the events said.

Prince Andrew offered $7 million to take Epstein lie detector test

Britain’s Prince Andrew is being offered millions to come to the US and take a public polygraph test about his relationship with the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Investigative journalist Ian Halperin is offering £5 million pounds (or roughly $7 million US dollars) to Andrew “to come clean and take a polygraph test with a world-leading polygraph examiner,” he tells Page Six.

Halperin wants to quiz Andrew, 61, about claims from Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who says she was brought from the US to Britain at age 17 to have sex with the Prince in 2001.

In an interview with The BBC’s “Newsnight,” Giuffre said of Andrew, the Duke of York, “I knew I had to keep him happy, because it’s what Jeffrey and Ghislaine [Maxwell, Epstein’s then-girlfriend] would expect from me.”

Halperin alleged in his latest book, “Controversy: Sex, Lies, Dirty Money,” that the British royals deliberately threw the media glare on Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry to divert from Andrew’s links to Epstein.

Halperin explained to Page Six of his lucrative offer to Andrew — who despite not having worked in a while doesn’t appear to need the money: “I am giving Andrew a chance to finally clear his name.

“I am offering 5 million pounds to Prince Andrew to come clean and take a polygraph test with a world-leading polygraph examiner.

“If he passes, my investment group will hand him over £5 million pounds.”

Halperin insists he has the cash and alleged, “I’m part of a global investment group to stop child sex trafficking.”
