>so Sunday is really the start of the week, and saturday is the end? i alwasys thought saturday = saturn-day??
"In his noteworthy[13] book From Sabbath to Sunday, Adventist theologian Samuele Bacchiocchi contended that the transition from the Saturday Sabbath to Sunday in the early Christian church was due to pagan and political factors, and the decline of standards for the Sabbath day.[14]"
"Cardinal James Gibbons affirmed Sunday observances as one of the examples of the Roman Catholic Church's sufficiency as guide: …But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify.— Faith of Our Fathers, Cardinal Gibbons, p. 72 [60]"

In the Bible, the start of the week is called the first day of the week and began at sunset as that is how God portrayed the cycle. Genesis 1:5 "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."
Each day was numbered/named in an ordinal way. The names we have today are from false deities, including the sun. The sixth day was sometimes called preparation day or day of preparation, as they got ready for the Sabbath then.
The Sabbath is NOT (((theirs))). It is GOD'S. The rainbow is God's as well, not (((theirs))). If they hijack something for their purposes, that doesn't change Who created it, Who commanded to remember it/its meaning, and who it was made for. His yoke is easy and His burden light. (((They))) made the Sabbath a huge chore and His law into traditions of men that drag down like a millstone.
