We can learn all we care to. Evil present within all of us will never be cooperative with God in Christ.
When we "LEARN THIS" we understand the reality of the fear of God. It's not a joke. God is not kidding around nor are we offered a way of escape from evil present within us in this present life. We are only offered dominance OVER it by recognizing the fact , but never complete victory or eradication of evil present.
As a fact, if we pay attention, Paul actually wound up in a position of MORE evil present with him AFTER salvation. 1 Tim. 1:15
Why did that happen to Paul??? Because the force(s) of evil attack those who know and understand God in Christ. We are "THEIR" enemies.
Our battle is actually on two fronts. We have God in Christ being against the EVIL PRESENT with us, and we have the spirit(s) of disobedience (evil present) also waging war against us.
This brings us firmly into a position of understanding the only hold is reliance upon His Mercy. Therefore we trust and hope. We also understand that were God in Christ "turn up the heat" in His confrontations we evil present, it is WE who are the "first to fall".
1 Peter 4:17
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it FIRST begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Playing religious games about how pious and holy we are is futile.
We do received chastisements because of the reality of evil present, (spirit(s) of disobedience that the flesh has and is always subject and subjected to:
Hebrews 12:8
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
We do receive tribulations for the same reasons:
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Hebrews 10:34
For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and TOOK JOYFULLY THE SPOILING OF YOUR GOODS, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
Any religious voice that tries to sell us a way out of this reality is in fact the voice of the deceiver speaking through that deceived believer, not the Voice of Truth in God and in Christ.
For centuries now the churches have been led down a dead end, trying to avoid the final confrontation with the reality of our own internal evil. If we are led by Christ, we will actually press IN to FINAL JUDGMENT, personally, as our faith quest. And there we will be TORN to pieces (two), just as our predecessors in the faith were so torn.
There is no going back.
We are ill led in false faith to "dodge the bullet." We falsely think we are "off the hook."
The reality is we are meant to TAKE THE BULLET.
No pseudo christian is interested in hearing that they have evil present, that God is in reality against our own flesh because of this, that we do receive punishment, chastisement, spoiling because of this reality. We spend our time trying vainly to make the presence of evil cooperative with God, and to cover it up, just like any typical lying hypocrite whom God HATES.
Lying hypocrisy is the ANTI-REWARD that God lays upon the deceived. And the pseudo religious drip and reek with it.
