Not a Rocket or Missile signature. Looks like an Electromagnetic Railgun Projectile. 2016 Navy Info Release says they are similar to a Sabot Round fired by a Tank. I know what a Sabot round looks like, 105 and 120,, I have fired a couple of thousand. And by that statement they mean it is a kinetic energy projectile. And they do look like that when captured on camera fired at night. Plus, in April 2016 the Navy announced they would be conducting Electromagnetic Warfare Training on Whidbey in the future to train Growler Pilots in Electromagnetic Warfare. Considering the Electromagnetic Railgun max effective range is 50 times the range of a sabot fired from a main gun on an Abrams, Ill call it an Electromagnetic Railgun Projectile since all the evidence points to that.
