I agree too. My grandpa left Germany before Hitler took power there, immigrated & naturalized as US citizen. He talked about it somewhat as I remember, but I was still too young to understand much. By the time I would have been old enough to understand, he was gone. One thing in particular I DO remember strongly is that he told me (in the late 1960's) that the US government was "getting too big."
