These lines of questioning would imply that our connection to aliens is, more than likely, preserved in the form of secret societies and exclusive membership organizations that have sought to use knowledge of this ancient connection to maintain power/control.

Consider how many ancient civilizations had dynastic monarchies where the emperor WAS descended from the gods and imbued with a divine right.

Before jumping into the "aliens are everywhere over our head!" - I would look not just around, but within.
