I think google bridges the gap for facebook and Twitter. Google comes standard on every phone. It tracks your movements, your speech, so much so that people get freaked out by it. My co-worker thinks it can read his mind because he goes to search something and only types 1 or 2 letters and google already knows and auto completes the rest of the word.
It knows your schedule and how long it will take you to get to work.
It fills in the gaps between what you want social media to know and real life.
