Does that mean those webcams shut down at the same time at those six other observatories were part of one or the other of these claims?

 

As I said in the dedicated thread, people don't abandon major facilities like this unless it's the end of the world or the end of their world.

So, digging into the backstories of these and other observatory employees might be useful. Of course, that astronomer some years ago who got decapitated when the telescope swung around in some observatory or other and those twenty astronomers who fell out of that gondola as they were heading up to that observatory in Switzerland have pretty good cover stories. Then there was the astronomer in Arizona, I think he worked at the Lucifer eyeball, something about the interesting similarity between him dying and the astronomer I think it was in that 2012 movie.
