Memphis is the main air terminal hub for UPS. All handguns have to go next day or 2 day when shipped via UPS. A lot of long guns are also shipped 2 day. This means the vast majority go through Memphis. Probably someone who works there or used to work there and was aware of this and recruited outside help.

just had two handguns shipped here UPS Second day and they went through both Memphis and Louisville, so I guess anything is possible.
