So have we worked out yet why the link Q posted to Wired .com has unnessary Google amp stuff in the URL? is that part of what the article is talking about?

The URL he posted is to the Google domain but it redirects to the Wired wesbsite. Is that part of how CIA monitor traffic? do links go through Google at some level without people knowing?
