Assassination Of Prominent Tribal Leader Sparks Crisis Between Arabs And SDF In Raqqa
“Sheikh Basheer was assassinated because he had rejected the SDF occupation and their control of Raqqa. He told them in their respected council: you are guests on our land and Raqqa belongs to its people,” the joint statement said.
Furthermore, the four tribes, which are among the biggest and most influential tribes in Raqqa, called on all Arabs to stop their political and social collaboration with the SDF. In the end of their statement, the tribes stressed that Raqqa “should be returned to its people.”

ISIS’ “Little Caliphate” Grows In Euphrates Valley Thanks To Actions Of US-led Coalition And Its Proxies
The ISIS-held pocket in the Euphrates Valley (the main ISIS stronghold is Hajin village) had remained untouched for a long time. The US-led coalition and the SDF in-fact ignored the ISIS presence in the area declaring multiple “offensives” on the terrorist group, but taking no notable actions to turn statements into reality. The US sees the “ISIS threat” in Syria as a useful explanation to justify its military presence in the war-torn country. At the same time, some top US officials have openly admitted that Washington is seeking to remain in the country in order to limit the Russian influence there and to force Iran to withdraw its forces from there (to defend Israeli interests).

Iraqi PMU Vows To Eliminate ISIS In Syria’s Euphrates Valley After US-backed Forces Fail To Do This
On November 4, Hashem al-Moussawi, a commander in the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), said that Iraqi forces are ready to launch a military operation against the remaining ISIS fighters inside Syria if the Iraqi and Syrian governments agree on this. The U.S. will not likely allow Iraqi forces to launch such an attack inside Syria, especially that it views the PMU as an Iranian proxy force. Some Syrian activists even argue that the U.S. wants ISIS to maintain a foothold in Syria in order to use it as an excuse to keep its troops in the war torn country.

US Says Turkish Strikes On Kurdish Militias In Northern Syria Puts Its Troops At Risk
“Unilateral military strikes into northwest Syria by any party, particularly as American personnel may be present or in the vicinity, are of great concern to us,” Deputy State Department spokesman Robert Palladino stated during a news conference in Washington on October 31. He added that the US and Turkey is in touch to de-escalate the situation.
Despite this, the US deployed additional troops and equipment nera Kobani and Manbij using its forces as human shields to prevent further Turkish strikes on positions of its proxies.
