FBI says fatal plane crash by Horizon employee was intentional

TOWN OF TOMPKINS, N.Y. (WBNG) — Delaware County emergency crews responded to the scene of a small plane crash in the town of Tompkins Friday afternoon, according to New York State Police.
The Trout Creek Fire Department said a plane was down in the woods in the Delaware County town.
Authorities said the crash was at the top of the hill on Readburn Road.
Trout Creek Fire said they were called about the situation at 3 p.m.
The intersection of Chase Brook Road and Readburn Road was closed, and no one was allowed near the scene.
Authorities have not said the extent of any injuries.
State Police, Local Police and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office were all on the scene as on 5 p.m. on Friday.
