Deutsche Bank Offices Raided by Police in Money Laundering Probe Over Panama Papers

FRANKFURT—Around 170 police officers, prosecutors, and tax inspectors searched six Deutsche Bank offices in and around Frankfurt on Nov. 29 over money laundering allegations, the Frankfurt public prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

Investigators are looking into the activities of two Deutsche Bank staff members who are alleged to have helped clients set up off-shore firms to launder money, the prosecutor’s office said.

Written and electronic business documents were seized from Deutsche Bank and further investigations are ongoing, the prosecutor’s office also said.

Deutsche Bank confirmed the search of its offices and said it was fully cooperating with the authorities.

Migrant Mother Says She Was Pressured to Join Border Rush

Migrants being used as pawns by socialist, communist groups to achieve open border goal, expert says

TIJUANA, Mexico—María Luisa Cáceres went to the El Chaparral border area in Tijuana on Nov. 25 to check the status of her asylum number. It was there, at a makeshift registration tent a week earlier, that she was given number 1,537.

The group organizing the asylum numbers is Pueblo Sin Fronteras (“People Without Borders”), an open-borders group that has supported several caravans of Central American migrants attempting to gain asylum in the United States.

When Cáceres took her 15-year-old special-needs son to check their asylum number on Nov. 25, she was told it would be another three weeks before her number was called.

But that was also the day that organizers called the thousands of migrants to march to the border. Cáceres said she didn’t plan to join the protest, “but as we are with the caravan, we are forced to.”

“The truth is that we were told that if we didn’t go to the caravan, then we were not with them, and you know, since we departed from Honduras, we came in a caravan,” she said.

US Charges Chinese Companies for Money Laundering on Behalf of North Korea

U.S. federal prosecutors are charging two Chinese-based companies and one Singapore-based firm for money laundering on behalf of North Korean banks, in violation of U.S. sanctions.

Prosecutors have filed a complaint in federal court to forfeit more than $3 million from these companies, according to a Nov. 27 press release by the U.S. Department of Justice.

The three companies were part of a sophisticated global money laundering network, consisting of front companies and North Korean banks, that moved North Korean money through the United States in a scheme to help procure goods for the North Korean regime, the prosecutors allege.

Apex Choice is purportedly a paraffin wax exporter headquartered in Hong Kong, while Yuanye Wood is purportedly a wood sales company headquartered in the southern coastal city of Wenzhou in China, according to the court complaint. The Singapore company was not named by prosecutors.

Thought Police: British Cops Are Building AI Program That Will Stop Crimes That Haven’t Been Committed

A dystopian future awaits humanity if we cannot realize the dangers of programs such as the one the British police are working on. The cops want to create an artificial intelligence program the will somehow stop crimes before they’ve been committed, aka, the thought police.

Police in the United Kingdom are piloting a project that uses artificial intelligence to determine how likely someone is to commit or be a victim of a serious crime. These include crimes involving a gun or knife, as well as modern slavery, New Scientist reported on Monday. Ironically, the police creating the program don’t see government as modern slavery, yet that’s exactly what it is.

The West Midlands Police department is heading the trial project through the end of March 2019. They are expected to have a prototype at that time. There are eight other police departments reportedly involved as well, and the hope is to eventually expand its use to all police departments in the UK.

According to Gizmodo, the program is dubbed the National Data Analytics Solution (NDAS), the system pulls data from local and national police databases. Ian Donnelly, the police lead on the project, told New Scientist that they have collected over a terabyte of data from these systems already, including logs of committed crimes and about 5 million identifiable people.

Swedish city spends 7 million on housing criminals in luxury apartments for rehabilitation without result

The Swedish city of Malmö City provided a criminal gang with an all inclusive luxury flat, which they used as a base for drugs and bombs.

Criminals in Malmö were given a luxury flat including food and cleaning help. But instead of rehabilitation, the flat became a base, where explosives and cocaine were found by the police.

Two men from a gang in multicultural Rosengård received the 180 square meter, five room flat, in Malmö City centre last year.

The flat is the company’s most exclusive, and has a fireplace and balcony. When the men refused to clean, they also received cleaning help.

However, this was not appreciated – one of them promised in a text to “mop the maid’s face and throw her off the balcony” if she woke him up at 1 pm.

The social services paid, for just one of the men, €4500 a month. In total, Malmö city paid €7 million to the housing company and this without procurement.

Islamists have attempted to infiltrate Swedish politics since the 1980s, researcher warns

A researcher of inter-religious relations from Lund University has asseverated that Islamists, including those from the Muslim Brotherhood, have attempted to permeate Swedish politics since the 1980s.

The report by Sameh Egyptson, a researcher of inter-religious relations at Lund University, published by the Expressen tabloid daily reveals that the Islamists negotiated in the 1980s for voting with Swedish political parties.

Egyptson cites an obscure 2001 report in Arabic by the Swedish Muslim Council (SMR), which highlights the collaboration between SMR and IFIS to ‘cooperate with Swedish parties to educate political cadres and fight for Muslim rights through these parties’.

Egyptson explained that ‘infiltration’ was not his personal interpretation but the exact word, verbatim, used in an article for Tunis News by former chairman of the Swedish Islamic Federation (IFIS) and current head of Stockholm Mosque, Mahmoud Khalfi. Egyptson asserts:

South Korea’s top public prosecutor apologised on Tuesday over what he described as a botched investigation into the enslavement and mistreatment of thousands of people at a vagrants’ facility in the 1970s and 1980s.

The Barack Obama Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit that was launched in 2014 and carries a primary goal of building the Obama presidential center in Jackson Park on the South Side of Chicago, reported $231,993,748 in contributions and grants in 2017. This was an increase of more than $218 million from the $13 million in donations the foundation reported in 2016.
