Mueller’s delay tactics have been going on for too long. On Feb. 15, 2017, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) submitted a letter to Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Former FBI Director James Comey requesting transcripts of Flynn’s call with the Russian ambassador, along with the FBI’s 302 report. Sure enough, Mueller has not cooperated with the chairman’s requests.
In her column on The Daily Caller, Former Federal Prosecutor Sidney Powell said, “Mueller has shown abject contempt for the wrong court. Judge Sullivan is a real judge who believes in the rule of law and has the integrity to enforce it equally.”
Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to agents about his phone conversation with the Russian ambassador. Flynn will appear in DC Federal Court on Tuesday to receive his sentencing. The prosecution team has recommended no prison time. Ahead of the sentencing, President Trump tweeted early Tuesday his support for Flynn.
Prison time would land Flynn in protective custody. Muller didn't want jail time. Muller is trying to save himself (U1). Judge Sullivan is pushing for jail but offering an opportunity for Flynn to plead not guilty. Flynn knows where the bodies are buried. He is not ready to take it public and so needs protection.
