Small Caps Soar To Best Start Since 1987 As China Adds Record Liquidity

Graphic heavy

Wondering why stocks are soaring?

Simple really - Global Central Bank balance sheets are soaring again…

And China just injected a record 1.16 trillion yuan into the financial system… (yea trillion with a 't') pic 2

It seems the algos did not get the message the first time as Trade headlines pumped and dumped… and then they ripped…

Trannies are best this week…

Trannies are also the best performer of the US majors YTD, but the Russell 2000 is off to its best start to a year since 1987…

pic three is what I have mentioned all week and last. Heavily shorted stocks are contributing the most to this rise as that is easy to get weak ones to panic and cover. That is just about done now.

SP500

Volume 2,614,680,522

Avg. Volume 4,088,701,935

DOW

Volume 372,049,964

Avg. Volume 378,100,967

NASDAQ

Volume 2,178,760,971

Avg. Volume 2,445,733,548

Volumes are better except on SP500.

A trillion dollar injection from china certainly helps that.

Still below average all across the boards.

That money finds it way to other markets as I mentioned when the first round started a few nights ago. It always does.

NFLX twice it's daily volume. Dead company walking. That did nothing on 2x average. Not a good sign if you are long. See pic

CTL* had a big volume day

CenturyLink, Inc. (CTL)

15.83+0.49 (+3.19%)

Volume 16,023,010

Avg. Volume 12,701,898

*Insider sales reported today had Temasek dumping about $255m as a 10% holder.

It's not unusual in the fact that volumes have been decreased since start of the year but with all the 'help' they are getting it should be much higher volume-wise.

The never monetized brand name like other big co's. Also have a ton of off book debt for content acquisition contracts. I don't see them making much if any payments towards those obligations at all. It's very easy to hide things in SEC filings and they have done a fabulous job of saying many words but never telling much of the financia story.

The conference call was a joke. Turned it off after 5 minutes of spooging by the CEO.

Then they all pat themselves on the back and go the Sundance film Festival now.

JPM, Vanguard, Blackrock, TRowe Price all have large ownership staked via equity.

Let's just put this to bed.

None of what is posted financially is a buy or sell call. All that is discussed is market internals in order to achieve those prices. You need to do your own research if you want that information.

Have not given nor will I ever give any information on that part of the markets. That is your decision and your's alone to make.
