I think people read into that way too much. Some folks believe we are literally going to wake up from The Matrix in a pod. A more down to Earth explanation is that The Triangle is fed our money, steals our hard work (energy), and uses mind control techniques to keep us docile. The Great Awakening can be the eventual mass realization that we've been manipulated our entire lives to buy into a system where only the elite few benefit. Religions may turn out to be false or heavily manipulated. Our trusted leaders turn out to be our oppressors. Conspiracies like chemtrails and autism vaccines turn out to be true. Things like that some people can't handle. By red-pilling ourselves we are already waking up from The Matrix. We just need to be around to help the people still asleep when the facade is shattered (don't know if that would be a single truth).
The fact that The Triangle has controlled what we are taught about ancient history and recent ET activity makes this all a shitshow. Somewhere along the line, they might have projected some of their crimes onto ayyys or purposely made us afraid of them with tales of bad experiences. The existence and acceptance of ayyys creates a threat to the global power structure that is meant to control us.

Here I see we are not alone, there are more good (ayys) than bad, and they are helping. 'We are all connected' could be a reference to an all of humanity-wide Ascension plan.
We are really grasping at straw, though, and could use some stronger hints.
5G waves can cause resonate with our DNA. The effects of this are unclear and can likely cause either harm or good. Will it enchance our physical and mental health? Will genetic memories be unlocked?
