Yes Paul was born a Jew. And he QUIT! Jesus made him realisze what he was following was a sin! Why is Judaism (the oral law) a sin you ask?
Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Judaism has added to the Torah. Simple as that.
Now Paul had an awakening. And he told the Pharisees where to put it. And he paid dearly for it as they had him beaten 4 times. ("I received stripes"). Paul then tried to do what I am telling you - explain to the people the difference in oral law and written law and that Jesus taught the commandments and Law. And this seems to be very difficult for people to grasp.
For example "Do we need to be circumcized to keep the Sabbath" people ask. "Do we need to wash our hands like the Jews"? To explain the differences in oral law and written take a scholar. And I am going to show you some differences very soon (and quit arguing with Christians, Time to show the Jews the things THEY ALSO need to stop doing). Christians, with your 3 headed God (not true), your eating wafers, easter, etc.
But let me get back to Paul and then answer your question. As Paul said…
Act 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
How can Paul write this and then tell you to not do the Law elsewhere? Again, Paul is trying to explain 2 DIFFERENT SETS OF LAWS. "You foolish Galatians". They had a hard time getting it too. Maybe you are from there who knows.
We are going to be judged by our works and sins in this life. What is our goal? As we read in Rev 20 to be priests, kings, and rulers over nations with the Messiah at his return for his 1,000 year reign. We will be resurrected to the court of Messiah and dwell with him in Mt. Zion. From Mt .Zion THE LAW (not Christianity) will flow to the world. Wars will be put down. Man will not raise arms again. These are those that followed the Law, repented, and were in synch with God's wishes.
Everyone else will be resurrected from the dead after the 1,000 year reign and judged by what they did in life or by their works. And since their works were not based on Torah they missed the 1,000 year reign. This group includes good hearted Christians that were misled, misled Jews, Atheists that are "good people", and the pygmies etc tht never saw a bible and never heard the name Jesus Christ. Thank God these people are not judged by southern baptists since for the "Crime" of not knowing who Jesus is they say all these people are doomed! What a bunch of naive arrogant bastards.
There is a another judgment possible for people raised in the 2nd resurrection. That they are judged to be incorrigible and are put back to everlasting death and the permanent separation from God.
To summarize, keep the Law and repent. Walk in synch with God and you may be in the 1st resurrection. If you do not you will be in the 2nd one.
Supporting verses…
Rev 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection."
And then after the 1,000 years…
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
