I gave up on Rand Paul last year when he talked big about renewing the 702 legislation then did nothing. He's all talk and no action. Just last week he touted how he opposed staying in the war in Afghanistan but then declined to vote on it. He's a tool.
If that's true, why didn't he vote to end the war in Afghanistan? After all, he was all over twitter saying how much we should withdraw, but then refused to vote on it.
Here's the cap I took of the vote. It was last week when they vote to stay in the Afghan war for another 18 yrs.
Another time he whimped out was 2 yrs ago when renewal for 702's came up. He preached that he would filibuster it. He didn't. Talked for days about how he would stop it. He did nothing. There were other things but those are the 2 that stick out most in my mind.
I don't like Rand Paul. But I respect that you do.
