First name Sidney. Surname Williams.
I checked to see if he has a middle name or middle initial after Q posted. Did not find one although lack of middle initial is not certain.

Anon I dug this many breads back.
I have not found a Lot #96 on Tract 3357.
Here's the images. (reposted for 3rd time)
I searched the Kern Co. recorder and tax assessor for transactions involving Maxine or her husband and there appear to be a few but have not found any document images or property identification associated with the listed transactions.
Do you want me to post those too?
The ones I found with a grantor or grantee name Sid Williams may or may not be Maxine's husband. Without seeing the documents referred to by # and comparing signatures etc., it's pretty hard to tell.
Also note they could have trusts or LLCs in their own names or other fictitious names, and properties they own could be in those trusts' or LLCs' names, and be almost impossible to track down unless you can find the deed of of trust or the document establishing the LLC with the secretary of state (of whatever state).
One more on my next post.
I did not go down all the Sidney Williams listed in the Kern Co. Hall of Records because I didn't know if he had/used a middle initial or not. My geneology scan suggested that he did not.
I found this 1986 transaction between a Maxine Williams and a Sidney Williams but without seeing the document I don't know if Maxine ever used Williams as a surname and this transaction may or may not be them. Looks like I got distracted (by Q posting again!) before looking up the document number to see if it was associated with a property situs.
So this is the info for the document number on the deed granted from Maxine Williams to Sidney Williams in Kern Co. in 1986.
It's sort of a dead end because there is no tax assessor's number or address associated with the deed. It would require visiting the Hall of Records in person or mailing a check to receive a copy of that deed by mail.
Some other anons were all over the Tract Plan which was formerly a small gold mine but as far as I can tell it was turned into a subdivision a long time ago and there is no damn Lot # 96 on it. Lot numbers only go up to 30.
There are abandoned gold mines from the Gold Rush era all over that part of Calif. When I say "mine" sometimes these are claims that had some digging or a small tunnel or a sluice working on gravel. Think a guy with a shovel, mainly.
OK you could be right.
I will go look at the Kern County sectional plat maps for that area and see if I can find something with a 96 on it. Stand by.
OK I got into Kern County's GIS system and found the location of tract T03557. It is in Bear Valley, an unincorporated area north of the town of Tehachapi. Pic related.
Have not yet found Lot numbers there relating to house numbers. Appears to be a developed area with a lot of named streets, probably has houses all over the place.
This rings bells b/c when i was searching the Recorder's website there were other transactions involving Williams and Bear Valley. Damn, that means I have to go back and search the other Williams transactions.
Sorry here's the link if anybody else wants to dig around in there
