humbleness is important in being a teacher - not presuming oneself to have a monopoly on truth or be superior in any way - but that doesn't mean we should come off as weak - no, there is also a certain confidence that aids in the task. It's a balancing act. Teaching what one knows while being all Socrates like and knowing oneself to know how little oneself knows.

What am I talking about?

oh just reflecting on impressions made. How to improve relations and to increase probability of comprehension and retention in audience. Something anyone that presents information to be ingested by others should consider once in a while ;)

well, I said something earlier that came off a little pretentious - and it happens now and again - and when one recognizes they've become something they don't like - even a tiny mis-step accidentally made - it becomes fitting turn analysis inwards.

yes, that's a great method. I have my own style and I think it's important for everyone to find a unique path - but the classics are the best "starter pack" and the best things to fall back on - tried and true methodology : )
