BUCKLE UP, ANONS, BECAUSE @JACK IS DOING SOME SQUIRRELLY SHIT WITH HIS TRADES.
He's been exercising his Square options, and then immediately selling them all for months and months. As in, he literally owns nothing in Square. You can see this from all the yellow rows. If you don't know what exercising an option means, essentially, you get something (the share) for nothing (exercising the option). It would be like if you called up Twatter and said "Gimme a million shares for free," and they went "sure, no probz" and just gave it to you. WHICH YOU COULD THEN SELL for instant cash, which @Jack did.
In the Shares Owned column, you can see that he owns zero shares. So I went digging and found this article:
https:// venturebeat.com/2016/11/15/jack-dorsey-selling-7-of-his-square-stock-with-some-proceeds-going-to-fund-his-foundation/
There are a bunch of similar ones from 2016, all which glowingly state that Jackie is going to give his shares to this charity he's starting.
But this article says he owns 71 MILLION shares, and these SEC filings list it at zero, EVEN around the time of when he announced this charity.
Where are all of the shares? Are they listed as options? Are they some sort of special share class that you don't have to report?
But it's even weirder. I went searching for his foundation, the Start Small Foundation, and I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON IT. It doesn't even have a website.
I can't find ANY donations it's made, who runs, or even it's location! I just found some random place in Chicago, and it's listed as a yearly income of under $25,000, so that can't be it. Can someone find this thing? It makes no sense. It seems to me that they'd be bending over backward saying how they're funded by @Jack.
Then I found this article: https:// venturebeat.com/2015/10/14/jack-dorsey-is-giving-up-30-of-his-stake-in-square-to-help-underserved-communities/
which had this little gem in it: "In a tweet, Dorsey said that the first investment made by the Start Small Foundation will be in his home state of Missouri, helping those in Ferguson, which has certainly seen its share of problems over the years."
OH. There it is. My guess is @Jack sells his shares and "donates" the proceeds or whatever (getting a nice tax break) and then either uses the money himself, or uses it to fund various left-wing stuff, a la Soros.
Can someone find more info on Start Small? I keep thinking that I must be missing something.
Even in this tweet, where he announces the foundation, he doesn't even give any link to a website, or even a Twatter handle. At the very least, you'd think he'd make a handle!!
