Newbie here. Your Spreadheet at docs.google.com contains many errors. If you correct this one, I can give you several more. The entry on line 43 ( May 27 ) is identical to the entry on line 40 ( May 22 )
The entry on line 44 ( May 27, 2017 ) is identical to the entry on line 41 ( May 22, 2017 )
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MAnZZoD7y5Ydwx2rSrZualrZTNUYDY7gozTXkT0YUOs/htmlview#gid=0
Line 78 ( October 12, 2017 ) has the wrong number of people arrested. Spreadsheet says 30 … should be 44.
Also, the Sum of the number of people arrest is badly off. Check the "Range" in your SUM function. I suspect that it is wrong on both ends of the range.
Duplicate Entries:
Line 316 ( May 8, 2018 ) is identical to line 342 ( May 17, 2018 )
Line 95 ( Nov 14, 2017 ) is out of order according to the date.
Three lines in the Spreadsheet have the identical URL - lines 339, 340, & 341 ( May 15, 2018 )
But THAT is not an error, it was intentional.
The problem is, maybe you accidentally left a name ( on that Web-Page ) off of the list: Joshua L. Hazelbaker
You might decide that Joshua's arrest date was too early … but I noticed that there are 3 other lines ( in this same spreadsheet ) that have arrest dates in 2016.
The "Total" for the "Number Rescued" column is pretty badly wrong.
One of the problems is caused by line 74 ( October 3, 2017 )
The problem is that when you type a + sign next to the number "15", Excel doesn't know what to do with that number, so it treats it as a Zero.
You might say that you don't know exactly how many people were rescued … but surely if you were to use the number "15", that would more correct that what you are currently using, which is ZERO.
Line 57 has the wrong Web-Site Link for Harry Miller ( July 7, 2017 )
That incorrect Web-Page URL was correctly used on line 390 for Justin Beard ( May 24, 2018 )
Line 355 ( May 17, 2018 ) has a story about Shirley Sparks which is entirely correct.
However, that same News Report mentions a man named James Edward Warren who was previously arrested. The News Report for him can be found at:
https://www.clarionledger.com/story/news/2017/06/15/man-wanted-human-trafficking-charges-alabama-caught-hinds-county/401207001/
James Edward Warren has not been included on this Spreadsheet.
Line 208 ( March 11, 2018 ) contains a LONG news report describing the arrest of approximately 40 or maybe 41 people.
But the number of people in column F was listed as 1 ( one person arrested ).
The following lines have no comments in Column K:
Line 129 ( Jan 12, 2018 ) - Possible comment: Sting Operation by the Human Trafficking Task Force
Line 141 ( Jan 25, 2018 ) - Possible comment: Sex Trafficking and related charges
Line 152 ( Feb 2, 2018 ) - Possible comment: Female charged with International Sex Trafficking
The following lines have the word "sex" mis-spelled in the Comments ( Column K )
Line 41 ( May 16, 2017 ) - Set Trafficking
Line 321 ( May 7, 2018 ) - Set Trafficking
The easiest way to find mis-spelled words is to use the "Cntrl F" search function in Excel.
The following line has the month, February, mis-spelled in Column A:
Line 159 ( Feb 6, 2018 ) - Februaryy
The following line has the month, May, mis-spelled in Column C:
Line 38 ( May 9, 2017 ) - Mary
In the following lines, the word "May" has two capital letters … MAy … in Column C
C360 - May 16, 2018
C394 - May 24, 2018
C395 - May 24, 2018
In the following line, the "Date" is missing a comma … so it really is not even a Date by Excel's definition:
Line C50 - June 1 2017 ( column C )
On the following lines, the Spreadsheet says that a Photo is available ( in Column D ) … but in every case, it should say "Photos" … because the article contains more than one.
Line D186 - Clinton & Clifford Pappadakis
Line D348 - Rudy Lopez / Timmon Crenshaw
Line D365 - Name = "Multiple"
On line 404, you said that Ryan Shephard was accused of Sex Trafficking ( in Column K ), but the article made a point of saying that he was accused of Soliciting a Prostitute, which is a misdemeanor, and was the least serious of all of the crimes on the list.
Line 417 - June 5, 2018 - column D - spreadsheet says Photo's in article … but I did not see any photo's in the article.
Line 419 - June 9, 2018 - column F - spreadsheet says "1 person arrested". Should be 2 people arrested.
Line 416 - June 1, 2018 - column A - the word "June" is missing an "e" ( Jun )
Line 54 - June 17, 2017 - column D - "article" is mis-spelled … but I can't tell you how … because this 8 chan software autocorrects the mis-spelled word.
Line 9 - Jan 27, 2017 - column F - the spreadsheet says that 42 people were arrested … but at the bottom of the article, it gives a list of all 42 people.
2 girls were arrested for Prostitution near a church, and 1 person was arrested for Possession of Cocaine.
So it seems like column F should say 39 people.
Line 12 - Feb 2, 2017 - column G - Spreadsheet says that the number of people rescued is unknown … but in the comments section ( column K ) it says that 3 children were being Trafficked.
Actually, this is NOT an error … just something to consider … about the difference between Soliciting a Prostitute and Sex Trafficking.
7 years from now, when Trump leaves office, if someone wants to know how many people in the Spreadsheet were charged with Soliciting a Prostitute, then he will have to spend hundreds of hours reading thousand of News Reports.
On the other hand, if ( today ) you write "Soliciting a Prostitute" in column K … and then 7 years from now, if you decide that you really don't want to make a distinction between THAT and Sex Trafficking … then you can change every occurrence of "Soliciting a Prostitute" ( on possibly hundreds of lines ) with a single search-and-replace command … which might take 30 seconds at the most.
Line 424 - June 1, 2018 - 6 People were arrested, but all of them were accused of Prostitution. In the past, you have said that you do not add prostitutes to the Spreadsheet.
Line 445 - June 7, 2018 - This row is out-of-order ( by Date )
Line 452 - June 11, 2018 - In column B, the year is listed as 2019 … is should be 2018
Line 85 - October 2, 2017 - Traffiking was mis-spelled in column K
Line 17 - February 14, 2017 - Column K
Line 20 - February 17, 2017 - Column K - on both lines, Kindnapping was mis-spelled in Column K
