On Friday, Judge James Boasberg, the new head of the FISA Court, announced in an order that he has appointed Obama-era national security leader at the DOJ David S. Kris as amicus counsel to review the reforms the FBI will be making to its FISA application process.
In December presiding FISA judge Rosemary Collyer announced she would be stepping down early from the FISA Court due to ‘health issues.’
Chief Justice Roberts tapped Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee to replace Collyer.
The moves were in response to the FBI abusing the FISA process after it obtained a total of four FISA warrants on Carter Page.
David Kris is an anti-Trump activist who wrote several articles lying about Rep. Devin Nunes and President Trump.
And HE was picked to clean up the FISA process!

On Sunday Rep. Devin Nunes joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss the shocking development by the corrupt Department of Justice.
Nunes argued that this is even MORE OF A REASON to shut down the criminal FISA Court system.
Rep. Devin Nunes: So the fact that of all the people in the swamp… this is the guy that you come up with? A guy that is accusing me of federal crimes. A guy that was defending dirty cops at the FBI. That’s why I said it last night in a tweet, the court must be trying to abolish itself. Because there is long term damage, this is another misstep. Remember the judge from last year, that now was in charge of all of these FISAs She claimed at the end of the year, which is great, oh there is a problem here we need the FBI to do something. Well, that in and of itself was essentially a lie, or very close to a lie. Because she knew from the House Republicans that there was a fraud on the court. They had more information and evidence than we did. And so now you have a new judge who’s put in place and he picks one of the guys who was essentially covering up for the dirty cops. I guess we’re going to have to abolish this whole FISA system at this point and try to build something new. I don’t think the American people and Republicans in Congress, if this continues, you are going to have a continued concern amongst Republicans and conservatives that there is something wrong with the FBI… but this court is not acceptable.

Steve Bannon tells Trump to delay State of the Union until he's acquitted in Senate ‘trial of the century’
Former White House adviser Steve Bannon backed President Trump's "doctrine" as Taiwanese voters rejected Chinese authoritarianism and pro-democracy protests continue to rage in Iran and Hong Kong and advised the president to delay his State of the Union address until after he is cleared in the Senate impeachment trial.
"This is the Trump Doctrine, whether it's in Hong Kong, or at the ballot box in Taiwan, or the streets of Tehran," said Bannon. "President Trump has stood up to the Chinese Communist Party, the dictators in Beijing, he stood up to the mullahs in Tehran."
Speaking with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News's Sunday Morning Futures, Bannon, 66, claimed that Trump's vision of foreign policy is at odds with establishment politicians in Washington, D.C.
"What President Trump did is go against the established order," remarked Bannon. "The permanent political class's foreign policy was to appease these dictators, to appease Beijing, and that's why saw the rise of China. To appease the mullahs in Iran, and that's why you saw this expansion of Iran with Hezbollah throughout the Middle East.
"Donald Trump said, 'This is not going to happen on my watch,'" Bannon continued. "He's taken a very Churchillian stand, like Churchill took in the 1930s. It's the permanent political class, and the John Kerrys, the Hillary Clintons, the foreign policy establishment, the Neville Chamberlains, they were the appeasers. He went to economic war."
The host of the podcast War Room also suggested House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats are attempting to "slow-walk" Trump's Senate impeachment trial, equating their efforts to the "crime of the century."
"Two reasons Nancy Pelosi slow-walked this: One was to find more evidence because they didn't have it and they're afraid the guns are going to be turned back on them for a weak case. The second was to make sure she could bigfoot President Trump's State of the Union. That's why she slow-walked this whole thing."
Bannon also suggested that Trump wants to call former Vice President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden, Pelosi, and Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff to testify before the Senate because the people of America and the world are eager to see "if the established order" can back him down.
"The reason [Trump] called for an expanded witness list was he understands that the jury is not the Senate, the jury is the American people, but the audience is the world. They're watching on the streets of Taipei, they're watching in Hong Kong, they're watching in Tehran, they're watching to see if the established order can back down Donald Trump."
Bannon said Trump will be found not guilty in the Senate's "trial of the century" and should reschedule the Feb 4. State of the Union until after the trial has ended so he can address the American public on his terms.
"He has to be acquitted; he will be acquitted and exonerated. That should happen, and then he should do the State of the Union," added Bannon.
