I am leaning toward aliens being misdirection. If evolution is true as they claim, then who’s to say that a more intelligent species (subterranean) could not have evolved before humans during the Triassic, Jurassic or Cretaceous period.
This seems more plausible when considering the vastness of the universe and the distances to be traveled.
Perhaps outer space is a misdirection. Look out there! Nothing to see down here.
