When I harvest memes from General bread or Memes bread I apply names that contain human-readable, machine-searchable words.
If people are present, the name almost always contains the surname, at least.
If you want to take over this job you are more than welcome to.
Memes posted by anons in this bread will have whatever names the memefags chose to use.
I have repeatedly suggested that anons name their files with searchable keywords.
I have the entire meme archive on muh machine and the files are laid out in such a way that I can search ALL the meme archives using a keyword or multiple keywords that I type. Linux Nautilus file system makes this very easy. I have no advice to windows users other than get off that platform onto something fast and efficient and easy to use.
One example to show what I mean. Let's say I search 2019-2020 meme archives using the word
constitution
Pic 1 is what appears.
Now say I search for two words (non case sensitive search)
constitution obama
Pic2 is the result. It is a subset of the previous search.
We have tried several ways of classifying and organizing the meme collection. We chose human- and machine-readable filenames as the simplest way that does not require any specific platform or application or database, therefore can be used by all anons cross-platform.
You can also do these searches on the mega meme archives to filter out just the memes you want to view.
I have given up the idea of compelling all memefags to tag their images as I do. You can't herd cats. Some anons do it and it is much appreciated because it saves me a lot of typing. Excessive typing causes tendinitis, which slows down the meme harvest.
