But "Egypt" is a fake name for something else, right?
Why is deity "Shiva" like deity "Christ"?
both are saviors / salvagers of souls.
Both are specially worshiped by outsiders, the "outcasts"
They uplift and save the "lost"
Both took on suffering, in their form as human beings, to protect and redeem Creation,
Both are Original Teachers - who take away the veil s of ignorance, Show their disciples the Cosmic God -
Show their followers that the limited human being , such as ourselves, the limited lost soul, belongs in a greater context and is a part of this great, beautiful and PERFECT Creation.
They both are rejected by the authorities of their time.. Shiva is rejected and dishonored by the high priest = king "Brahma"
Both bestow Grace by the descent of "Holy Spirit" or "Shakti," respectively. which is said to enter the body of the disciple.
They initiate their followers with this bestowal of Grace.
