I do not think [they] are Catholics yet simply use religion as a tool to divide and conquer yet there is no denying what this article is suggesting at a time when they were Proud of the Fact that Catholics "thrived" in the C eye A.
and lastly I will meme the drop where Q tells us that the C eye A was too dirty to clean and that the NSA has now taken over those duties. It seems Gina is the Cleaner/Closer and that besides the remaining deep state strongholds (china/iran) they exist now in name only.
